I used to think he was joking about having that car. I mean, a celebrity like him could easily drive something nicer.

HAH I love that song!

Conan and Jon and Stephen all rock! They made my night yesterday!

I don't think the entire nation should be deprived of a joke if one region finds it offensive. It's like being angry at every parent around you when you find out you're infertile. Sure, you have to be a right to be upset, but blaming others for being insensitive (or for having children) is taking it a bit too far. Nobody's out to make other people upset. It isn't like the plane took off from a runway labelled "Kentucky." It was an unfortunately coincidence, that's all. Everyone could have just changed the channel, really.

But if anything, I think that the Kentucky NBC affiliate could have censored it, if they felt the need to. I read an article where they said they were "helpless" since it was "live" but NBC managed to censor a few words, so I believe that they had a few seconds of delay. I'm sure that the people of Kentucky would have understood if the beginning of Conan's skit was abruptly cut when the plane started rocking. IMHO the people of Kentucky should be complaining to their local affiliates, not blaming the entire national network.

Conan is surprisingly practical and cheap. He's like the antithesis of Jay Leno (who's famous for having a large collection of expensive cars).

All KFC commercials should be banned from TV until the nation heals, just thinking about the word Kentucky brings them to tears:cmad:

It's not Kentucky Fried Chicken any more. It's Kitchen Fresh Chicken. What the hell.

That's true. And Jay's not funny to boot.

You know what? I think you should be banned for mentioning KFC out of respect for me being black and all. You can't say KFC around black people, show some respect :cmad:
