I despise Leno but his skits are longer than 30 seconds. A lot of people change the channel before the first interview anyways so I don't see why they think making the monologue and skits super short are doing any good.

It's funny because Conan hasn't lost any time moving to cable. It's still an hour show. It all depends on how you occupy that time.

And also how much time you wanna give the guest. That Charlie Day interview FELT pretty long. Plus, it was funny. So, it made up for whatever was lacking beforehand.
