Constantine Season 1, Episode 6 "Rage of Caliban" General Discussion

It'll be interesting when they finally get to the Ressurection Crusade storyline, as Jason Kane mentioned. Hopefully, it'll be just as dark as it was in the comics.

Actress who plays Zed, though, does leave something be desired. But she also wasn't given much to work with so far, so we'll see... she might surprise us yet.

Hopefully the next episode will give her more to do.

I'm not deeply entrentched in Constantine lore so I likely not as critical overall on this show. As someone who likes X-Files, Buffy, True Blood etc this show appeals to me enough.

I noticed Zed was absent, now I know why but to me she is just the replacement "required" female co-lead now that Liv is gone. Not sure Zed is actually needed that much(the Crusade thing aside I just read upthread), not sure how much Liv would be either(she's also a comic character, yes?).

I did do a Wiki on the sword Chaz picked up, felt that like Dr.Fate's helmet that wasn't random.

I did pick up on random Halloween episode being the first week of December as odd. As well as some line he uttered about "6months in the asylum and I'm a rank amateur again"[paraphrase]. That line was out of place 7 episodes in I felt and I know why now...this should've been episode 2.

All in all I'm enjoying the show. Going to sit back and enjoy the run and hope for the best regarding as season 2.

Kind of a slow episode but the ending was fantastic. The haunted house that John had to walk through at the end was great. The zombie mask that the kid wore was really creepy. Interesting resolution at the end.
