Transformers constructicons?? are they, aren't they?

My favorite reaction to those pictures was "OMG There are Pretenders in this movie! Look, see all the humans!? Those must be pretenders."

They said flat out ages ago that there were no constructicons, no dinobots, no triple changers, etc. I think people are overreacting.

Cranes and other heavy equipment are used in films all the time for varying reasons.

They never said no Constructicons...they said no combiners for the first film. The Construticons could in-theory appear, just not able to combine yet. Bonecrusher is technically in this movie, if they plant the seeds that he has 4-5 other close comrades not on Earth yet...hey, you could have a combiner in the sequel.

That said, there is (or was) a scene where an SUV gets its roof ripped of by a TF so MagicPrime is most likely right. I mean it looks like a convoy of Government vehicles to me so it all fits.

If they were, Would they even be refered to as a Constructacon? Considering they are part of the Decepticons.

Probably not. Since I'm sure the filmmakers would worry about confusing people with a sub-faction within a faction. Fans would know them, and in all honesty that would be the main reason for having them.

Here's hoping that we get Bruticus or Devastator in a sequel. Since they are the most likely combiners/gestalts for the movie universe.

Not sure if he is a constructicon or not, but they did show the crane attacking the asian kid while he was on the hood of a BMW. I think that pretty shows that this is indeed a decepticon in the guise of some sort of construction equipment.

The construction equipment was used as a placeholder. Meaning it was there to cause things you happen on set and give the actor something to act off of. This , I garauntee you, will be replaced with CGI. Most likely the Brawl character while he is interrogating Spike.
