Continuity

The Weapon X scene definitely looks more realistic in the scenes we see in the new preview than in X1 or X2. X2's looks more like a scientist would be doing something nasty. Looks like something from Hostel.

And in the case of his flashbacks, his flashbacks could be considered what his brain chose to remember rather than what happened and what he saw.

Yeah the hair bothers me too a little. I mean would it hurt to give Sabretooth a little blond highlights?

As for the Weapon X facility, well, it does look more modern and light than you'd expect. They have a director and production designer and with this being a prequel not a sequel they are bound to want to put his their own stamp on the look.

They probably didn't have that set anymore. The look of Weapon X in X1 and X2 is different.....

True but i think you need to stay true to both while at same trying to make a good movie. One key element in this movie which is from Singer's time is Stryker.I think it's important that he'd have a role.

Other things established in the films such as Stryker's wife, Jason Stryker, Alkali Lake and (maybe at some point Yuriko Oyama) will hopefully feature.
How about this:From CBM

"This is a second-hand but reliably sourced story about the currently-shooting Wolverine movie, the upcoming 20th Century Fox tentpoler being shot by Gavin Hood (Rendition, Tsotsi) and an issue that begs the question "who's really in charge here?" In one corner is the director Hood, and in the other is FOX co-chairman and CEO Tom Rothman, who's widely known for being a very willful and meticulous micro-manager."

"There was/is a huge Wolverine set being recently used. I'm not even sure which lot it was built on, but the look or mood of the set is, according to a source who was told Hood's view of things, supposed to be on the dark, dinghy and somber side. I only know what I was told, but the basics are that Hood was away from the set for whatever reason (shooting something else, taking a day or two off), and when he returned to the big somber set he was shocked to find that it had been repainted top to bottom on Rothman's orders. The murky-scuzzy vibe was gone, and a brighter and less downish look had taken its place."

"...it suggests that a creative tug-of-war is going on, and that Rothman feels a certain managerial-slash-territorial investment in the X-Men franchise and is more or less entitled to make his own Wolverine calls, whether or not Hood fully concurs."

"...I do know that Hood was utterly surprised when he got back to the set and saw what had been done."

There's already an entire thread on here devoted to discussing those rumours.

I had kind of gotten the impression that Vietnam was involved in this film, Vietnam was longer than 15 years ago. Stryker seems to recruit Logan/Creed around the time of Vietnam becasue they killed a senior officer. That is the first time we see Stryker, he is wearing military uniform and has a clean shaven face.

I think Weapon X happens after Vietnam and Stryker is strictly government operations (Weapon X) so he decides to grow a beard out now that he's not in the eye of the military (most officers in the military keep their face shaven at most times).

Thanks for the welcome, Neto

Maybe he just liked the goatee look?

It looks like there's a Vietnam scene in the movie, as well as a WWII scene.
