Cop killer on the run calls out to celebs

Yup

What's worse than a loony with a gun?...a millitary trained loony with a gun.

I need a picture of robert patrick as the T-1000 with a picture of Dorner maniped over John Connor.

"have you seen this man?"

Malcolm X was a good man. He was nothing like Farrakhan.

Well once he had his transformation in Mecca he understood that his seperatist ideals were misguided. He saw white Muslims for the first time.

That's when he became truly dangerous to the status quo and had to die.

I thought it might be to get across to Mexico, but then that's purely outrageous speculation on my part. I know nothing about the logistics of crossing into Mexico, let alone scuba diving there.

He tried to steal a boat, right?

I think that what's the scuba gear was for

Malcolm X was killed by the Nation of Islam because they thought he was a traitor. Not because he was a threat to the status quo. Louis Farrakhan was calling for his death almost a year before it happened, and all but admitted to it afterwards.

Louis Farrakhan in a 1993 Speech said:
We don't give a damn about no white man law if you attack what we love. And frankly, it ain't none of your business. What do you got to say about it? Did you teach Malcolm? Did you make Malcolm? Did you clean up Malcolm? Did you put Malcolm out before the world? Was Malcolm your traitor or ours? And if we dealt with him like a nation deals with a traitor, what the hell business is it of yours? You just shut your mouth, and stay out of it. Because in the future, we gonna become a nation. And a nation gotta be able to deal with traitors and cutthroats and turncoats.

I've found this story to be pretty interesting. I might've actually found some strange sense of method to his madness if he'd been targeting the apparently "corrupt" people who wronged him, but it seems like he's just shooting random cops, which completely and utterly negates anything he says or claims is "for justice" or whatever.

The media would have you believe he was wronged in some kind of way , but truthfully he's a murderer and needs to be stopped.

I think it speaks to his being an unstable individual to begin with...and whatever may have happened within the LAPD could have pushed that over the edge, or it could have been what led to his dismissal.

I've heard they are reopening some old case Dorner was associated with.

Yeah but not everything is as it seems. The FBI had a program called COINTELPRO to sabotage radical politics during the 60's and 70's.

More details about COINTELPRO alleged involvement are in Malcolm X's wiki under ”allegations of conspiracy”:

I don't get his rationale at all, even if he was only going for people who had wronged him. So they get "justice" (although not in the courts because they're dead), but afterwards he'd be sitting in jail probably with the death penalty on the table (for killing cops...) anyway. So just how does he win here? That everyone knows the folks who wronged him did wrong him, and also that he's a murderer and will spend the rest of his life in jail? Or dead if he wanted suicide by cop? I'm pretty sure mass murderer/cop killer >>>>>> dirty LAPD bureaucracy for anyone!

He is absolutely a danger to society with that brain of his!

I'm not saying I sympathize with him or that murder is ever justified; I'm merely speaking on his own mindset that he's carrying out "justice" on a corrupt system. In that case, I don't think he'd really care too much about the death penalty or ending up in jail...his claims are that his goal is to "clear his name" and expose the LAPD for being corrupt.

But, like I said, his apparent "goals" are totally negated because he just randomly killed a bunch of innocent people. And, after reading his passage online, he really just seems intent on "clearing his name" which is also quite bizarre considering mass murder isn't exactly the greatest way to go about doing so.

It's just strange because in some cases he seems like a guy who knows exactly what he's doing and is trying to accomplish something (while going about it in a ghastly way), but in other cases he sounds like a complete nut job with random shout outs to celebrities and insistence on "clearing his name."

Hence, the story is interesting.

i.e. terrorism. That's what it turns into once the decision is made to harm innocent people out of whatever sense of equivalent exchange.

Seriously. And apparently he spent the last 3 years planning this, so it wasn't some temporary loss of insanity out of rage and injustice.

That's what terrorists do....how they roll.

Totally. That's kinda what I was getting at: at a glance, it might seem like a guy who went too far in his fight against "the system," but when you look closer his motivations are all over the place and seem very much like madness and a twisted personal agenda.

Hope they catch the guy soon.

This guy bought Scuba gear before all this went down? Dude is probably 7 miles below sea level. Sitting on the ocean floor, playing temple run laughing at the LAPD trying to find him.

A police organization or what have you could have falsely accused and killed my own sibling or child.....as personal, tragic and horrific as it gets, in anyone's eyes. But if in response to that injustice, I deliberately start killing innocent people, it makes me a terrorist.
