Whatever happened its pretty crazy, they just let a third paramedic vehicle through the barricade to the wounded.
 
TMZ are saying he had a couple tied up in a cabin. Apparently he was cruising around in the people's truck and the Fish and Game recognized him. Now it's a big ol' shootout with the Sheriff's department and two deputies have been taken to hospital.

It's all going off.

Dang, won't let me watch that in Canada. TMZ are saying there's a lull in gun fire at the moment. They're also speculating that the scuba gear might be used to counter the effects of tear-gas.
 
CNN, but they just stopped filming live at the request of law enforcement.

Probably wise if they're looking to move in and the guy has a television on inside the house. Telling the helicopters to clear away as well.

like a copy cat! very possible, but it wouldn't explain why he took foot bail from the truck when they spotted him.
 
They can call in a Predator drone surgical air strike and blow the cabin up, and everything within a 100 yard radius...end of DORNER~~!! And the end of the debate on the use of drones on US soil. Drone air stikes will forever be called DORNER STRIKE by law enforcement.
 
I'm pretty sure it's Dorner, it'd just be crazy if it turned out to be some other nut.

The TMZ guys just said that Dorner was the one tossing around smoke-bombs, not the police.

Now they're talking about Chris Brown...like I care. Go back to Dorner!

They need to send in a bomb robot with a radio or something to establish contact. Hope that he's alone. If not, then it's a really big problem.
 
At the moment,like Kal mart said, there's no live video coverage...because the police requested it.

It seems the gun battle has stopped for the moment, with the arrival of SWAT teams.

That radio station seems like the only one with any kinds of live coverage at the moment.
