Corona and other diseases

Calgary's comic con was originally scheduled for the end of April and was obviously rescheduled....to July. And celebrity guests are being confirmed. It seems odd that they would pick a date in the summer, but the hassle and cost of rescheduling makes me wonder if they know it'll go ahead. Seems like wishful thinking though.

Coronavirus update: Both my mom and I still have a little bit of a dry cough but were cleared to go back to work today. With the way both our work schedules are set up our first day back won't be until next week so it gives us a little bit of extra time. Dad still hasn't shown any symptoms but he is still required to be quarantined for another week.

I only wear reading glasses, so I never wore a mask with glasses. The other day, I drove to get tested and wore my sunglasses with a mask on because you have to have one to get tested. @Schlosser85 is right. The masks make your glasses fog up. It's rather annoying; especially when you're driving. Someone will make a fortune producing "no fog masks". Maybe that creepy dog mask is one. LOL.

Man, I wish I could have gotten one of those NJ tests. Having the bottom of your eyeball rubbed by a swab someone stuck up your nose rather sucks.

Test came back negative. I figured as much. My eye/upper nose hurt for about 12 hours after the test.

My employer had a meeting with my crew. One if our employees may have been exposed and management is worried. Manager read a sheet with all the crucial info and regulations. Stressed repeatedly that we must remain 6 feet apart. Then ends the meeting by telling us all to sign the same piece of paper with one pen. The whole crew crammed together and signed. That 6 foot rule went in one ear and out the other. Welcome to my life.

Good that both of you are recovering and able to go back to work. I wonder if people are immune once they've had it though. Everything is still very uncertain.

Great to hear! And I’m sure any extra day to recover will be nothing but good. Hope your dad fully escaped it!

If things weren’t so serious and possibly life threatening, that would’ve been funny as it seems like a skit from SNL.

I am sorry Marv. I hope you are able to stay safe.

Maybe he'd like to caucus with some of his colleagues and then isolate himself so he doesn't get other people sick
I wonder what he'd consider the lesser of two evils between getting punched in the face and getting kicked in the balls...

Let's draw straws to see which of us does what. I had a really good right cross....

You didn't tell him that everyone using the same pen would be exposing yourselves to the virus?
