I wonder if the virus' mutations have made it somewhat less severe, or if there's other factors at work like hospitals getting a better understanding of what works and doesn't work in terms of trying to help patients.

In just about all things, there are multiple factors involved. I don't have the type of information necessary to do a complete analysis. You'd need info like age, medical techniques, etc. I suspect you've hit on one of them which would be how it's treated as we've learned more about it.

So the big corporations are doing their part here. Walmart is giving out masks, Ross is not allowing anyone without a mask, Family Dollar is only letting in 10 people at a time with masks, and Dollar General well they're not enforcing on customers and only on staff... I won't be shopping there.

I don't think this had to happen, but people were SO GD stupid about things that now it's worse than it was before.....Arrrgggghhhh. The only part about fantasizing myself as a political candidate is that that level of pretending to care about causes I'm "meh" on and working crowds and demographics all the time sounds exhausting. I'm not even good at faking enthusiasm with customers at work.

I can already hear people saying I come off as cold and unapproachable like a male Hillary Clinton and aren't good at showing emotion or empathy.

Maybe I should fantasy-cast myself as the behind-the-scenes campaign manager/strategist instead.
