Good to see no one is overreacting with racism...
Well so long as he went straight to a hospital for monitoring (calling ahead first so they are prepared) and isn't needlessly come into to contact with anyone, you and your family, and you've all isolated yourself, and aren't spreading and mingling around others, and he's the careful responsible type, we should all be fine!My brother in law just arrived from China, he lives in Jinan. Booked a ticket without telling us and long-story short, he’s staying with us.
I’ll admit that some of the hysteria online with him being here has me a tad worried, he’s usually very careless about mostly everything so I’m just hoping nothing comes out of this.
He lived in Jinan and was heavily screened before arriving to airport and after having arrived to San Francisco. I still though been cautious during his stay by not having him leave the bedroom and wearing masks in the house. He had a follow up with the doctor and says it should not be of concern. But, reading the news and having him stay at my house does not ease my mind 100%.Well so long as he went straight to a hospital for monitoring (calling ahead first so they are prepared) and isn't needlessly come into to contact with anyone, you and your family, and you've all isolated yourself, and aren't spreading and mingling around others, and he's the careful responsible type, we should all be fine!
...Oh, wait what!?!
Good to hear, as you previously said ;He had a follow up with the doctor and says it should not be of concern. .
Glad he's home safe. this must be overwhelming for you all. I imagine he has people in Jinan too, hope the best for them too, and you all stay well.he’s usually very careless about mostly everything .

Asian here. This coronavirus outbreak is not really doing China any good internationally with its Asian neighbors, and has only exacerbated what many are feeling even before this (anger due to illegal territorial occupation and wannabe dictators under the payroll of the CCP).As someone of Han Chinese descent myself, I give a little leeway to the other Asian cultures on this issue, 'cause my people have done thaaaangs to them, but yeah, this is pretty disturbing still.
Well I guess that Uber guy now has it
Saw these charts in a news article which were a bit positive and comforting, if true:

So based on these, it looks like we may have gotten over the first hurdle and are beginning to effectively control the spread and severity of the disease... granted, a lot of the data is coming from China, so who knows how truthful it is, but I'm going to look at the positive
