Corona and other diseases

Why do Tapper and others even continue to give a fool like Kudlow airtime?

He's in no way qualified to talk about a pandemic, plus he should have been laughed off the screen back in February when he said "it's locked up pretty close to airtight".

He's proven to have no idea what he's talking about, so what use is there to continue to give him airtime so he can attempt to spew the same BS?

Someone above Tapper's pay grade is making money by selling commercials??

I had read an article like this during the lockdown about how Coronavirus could survive on surfaces like metals, plastic, glass etc before they'd even conducted any lengthy studies like this.

It actually put me off paying with money & I've hardly actually used any physical money this year, the vast majority of payments have all been contactless.. stuff like this will only make me even more hesitant to use coins & notes when shopping.

I had pretty much stopped using physical money a while ago. There’s only a very few occasions when it’s actually needed.

I'm the same, the only times I've used physical money is for places that don't have contactless, of which there aren't many but there are a few, and when I'm maybe getting a bottle of water, milk or something of the like & it's only coming to less than a quid.

I’ve had the same $20 bill in my wallet since March. Been using credit card since then.

My mom is like, always keep some cash on you and I'm like, the world has changed as of late.

I will admit the president is the GOAT when over 200,000 people have not died of COVID, when he takes a serious approach to race relations and civil liberties, puts forward an adequate infrastructure bill that includes significant spending on renewable energy, rebuilds our relationship with NATO allies, and listens to the scientists when it comes to both climate change and disease control.

Drop me a line when that happens. I'll be here.

@Iceman and other Brits around here. I am curious what you think of the new "3 tier" lockdown your government is attempting to implement. Think it will help? Is it too little, too late? How disillusioned do you think the people are? Watching the news broadcast from other there, it sounds like people have no idea what the government want from them half the time, and just throw their hands up and do what they want.

I think the highest tier level has a chance of making a dent in the infection rate. But only if it is sustained for an appropriate amount of time. My fear is that it will come in then after 3 weeks or so the infections will come down to a lower level. Then the tier is taken down a notch and then a few weeks go by and up we go again...

But on the bright side? We will literally have a rollercoaster graph!

That only occurred in a very controlled environment where the temperature was the same 68 degrees the whole time and there was no light. . Not saying we shouldn’t practice proper hand washing and cleaning, but that headline is fear mongering. The article even admits its results are not typical in the real world.

Yeah they really fear mongered that. Basically saying don't put COVID19 in a shoebox under the bed for a month. And don't let it get too cold or too hot.
