It's a royal mess this UK business.

There's more cases, and more deaths than there was back in March/April, but this new lockdown is less restrictive than the one we had back then. They're allowing the education system to remain open, and that's a big bag of stupid. Schools and Colleges should remain shut. Close universities too, and send the students home for christ sake. This isn't going to solve anything long-term. It's a lockdown of convenience, and because they're lacking foresight, I wouldn't be surprised if we're in a third lockdown come January/February.

It'll hurt the country (short term) but they need to literally shut down everything for two straight weeks. The only things that should remain open are chemists, supermarkets and emergency services. Everything else from factory workers, to builders, electricians, plumbers, schools, cafes, takeaways etc. Shut it all down. Either do it properly, or don't bother doing it at all. Preferably the former.

The moment anyone starts breaking into businesses or setting stuff on fire, they’re not protesters. They’re looting thugs who deserve whatever they get.

I said this before in regards to hordes of looters ransacking a Wal-Mart in Florida and got people crying about it.

Everyone on both political sides needs to stop conflating the two.

Honestly, the police should've just used tear gas or something on them.

The government need to give police forces more ... I don't want to say power, but the police should have the means to disperse a bunch of ignorant racers who think it's cool or funny to go to these extremes.

If people like this put themselves in this position, then whether they're tear gassed, tased, or dare I say it, shot (rubber bullets) then high praise to the officers involved.

Stop pussyfooting around. Redirect police brutality in a productive direction.

And start fining the living **** out of businesses that are flouting the rules too.

This is literally life and death and reckless public endangerment. It's not a game.

Apparently he didn't tell anyone because he didn't want to worry the nation. More like he was saving his own reputation. How would that have worried the nation? On the contrary it would've made him more relatable. Even his father was able to admit he had it and Charles is next in line for the throne.
