Hey Mr. President, maybe this whole ‘unity’ thing isn’t going to work out and maybe, just maybe, you ought to consider killing the filibuster. Easier said than done, I know; considering you still have rather conservative people on the party like Joe Manchin who will oppose this idea but if not that, then at least put extra pressure on the GOP to expedite the process in order to prevent them from stalling things out while people are dying left and right.

Desperate times calls for drastic measures and if the GOP isn’t willing to play ball then take the ball all for yourself and don’t bother to share it. Now isn’t a time to be bullied into too much compromise in a critical time like this. You have power. USE IT!

Feeling back to normal after the second dose. Had fever/chills/vomiting/muscle aches that started about 16 hours after getting the shot and lasted about 24 hours. If you get the vaccine try to have the next day off or work at home if possible because there is a good chance you'll feel like crap.

Yeah, ever since I got my TDAP shot a few years ago, and that knocked me down a bit, I like to have some free time when I get my shots, though really, the flu shot is nothing. Also why I am not exactly eager to get my covid shot, even though I know its necessary.

You have to look at things regionally. Things here in MI are getting better. Though, I would be hesitant to open up indoor dining, with the new strain showing up here in MI.
