Corona and other diseases

I find this scarier than the death rate. The odds are still highly in your favor that you won't die from this. Simply getting infected though is far more likely.
I recall having a hard time after a bad bout of bronchitis. I was sick for a good two and half months, wheezy, shortness of breath, all of it. I did eventually recover and I'm hopeful these people will, too.

I saw a while it could lead to up to 30-40% reduced lung capacity even in non-critical cases, now I see stuff about heart damage. Scary, especially since some of that damage even shows up in supposedly more "mild" cases where the person isn't ultra-sick.

I have heard some many different reports about this virus that i don't know what to belive but this does worry me has 1. Any thing with heart scares me and with how long i have been stressed out I already worry my stress may have caused me some heart damaged. 2. I already have asthma more minor asthma has my is like exercised induced asthma but don't want that to get worse.

My ex who lives in Philadelphia has asthma and a heart murmur. He’s scared.

Yeah, it's a concern. Even if you have had it once it does damage so if you like to smoke pretty much anything you're gambling even more with your life afterwards.

Which US states are closer to peaking and which are furthers away?

Gota love my governor (Ky governor Andy Beshear)....on today's talk about the virus....he showed a video made by many different pastors from around the state telling people to stay home for Easter....then he said that there are 7 churches in the state that are saying they will still hold services on Sunday....and he is going to send state police officers to each of those churches, they will take down the license plate numbers of the cars, hand out a written notice to the people as they enter (it tells them they now have to self isolate at home for 14 days) and use the license plate info to send to the area's health departments and sheriff's offices to tell them to make sure they stay at home. He went on to say - to those that think I am singling out churches because I am anti Christian.....I am a deacon at my church, my oldest son was supposed to get baptized this Sunday, and we are missing that, this "not going to church this Sunday" stuff is hurting me as much as you.....but the God I follow wants me to love my fellow man, and doing everything I can to save my fellow man's life is following God's orders.

Old Testament God probably wouldnt be so forgiving.

It might be hard to enforce. The person can carpool or use another car or tag if they need to go shopping or to go to work. Or just walk or ride a bike. Unless local police intend to put a watch on the person's house 24/7.

Even if most of them don't do the job the fact that progress is happening is how vaccines are made, trial and error.

yup scary... i heard multiple reports about from of people that i know working in hospitals

Finally found extra large gloves that fit me perfectly! Went to walmart and every single person had a face mask on like we're suppose to here. Although they aren't letting in anybody without a mask anyway and cops are patrolling but still impressive.

Why is it bats in particular that are a breeding ground for these compared to other animals?

Bats have loads of different coronaviruses (think around 200 but could be wrong). This is just one that mutated and infected humans. Sars also came from bats. Mers another coronavirus came form camels.
