So I find out this morning my boss' sister tested positive for COVID and my boss is now watching her sister's kids at her house with her family until their mom is safe.

So, ya know, hopefully my boss didn't bring COVID into her own household and into our store.

I’m kind of getting more anxious and pissy as the day goes on, and I have to close with her tonight.

Sort of similar situation here. My boss' boss tested positive and though I am not in direct contact too often, it is often enough I have to take extra precautions over the next several days until I find out if they have tested positive too or not.

Of course most of these people are stubborn, do not wear masks, do not distance and do not take it seriously enough so we all get to pay.

Really hope to get vaccinated soon, before I get COVID.

Biden should encourage the public to double mask for the next hundred days after his first 100 days are up. Since I think we could hopefully see some major decrease in infections with this recommendation.

They said a while ago it might not necessarily stop you from contracting it, just lessen the effects, which is why Fauci was telling everyone to keep up masks and such even if they’ve been fully vaccinated.

Yeah the vaccine reduces your severity enough that it probably won't kill you or hospitalize you. It's not perfect but getting moderately sick is better than dying from it. At the moment the best we can hope for is it becomes the equivalent of the common cold, annoying but not deadly.
