I'm fully vaccinated, thankfully. Got my second dose last Tuesday.

My wife is hesitant to get the vaccine at this point. Just had a baby last month and she's breastfeeding for the foreseeable future. Getting conflicting opinions from doctors about her getting it.

Yeah, but remember who the leader was when the pandemic started. As much as I try I can't imagine Trump telling people to eat and live healthy.

True but I never looked at Trump as a medical expert anyway. I wish the public health officials and the experts who were so vocal about the masks/social distancing would have also majorly pushed a message of eating better and healthy living. Could've made a huge difference, not just for the virus, but for our future health. Just a huge golden opportunity wasted IMO.

Make the attempt. They would have possibly saved more lives by focusing on the vulnerable and at-risk population, telling people how to survive it if they actually contract the virus, by improving their health.

No doubt, but it wasn't so much they didn't listen to science, as it was the administration focusing on the science they wanted to focus on. If they can run ads on mask wearing, which was supposedly based upon scientific studies, they could have also run ads on healthy living. A multi-pronged approach was needed.

It seems like I won’t be getting a second dose of the Pfizer vaccine as my provincial government has made the dumb choice of waiting four months between the two doses, so they can give them to more people. No other country is doing this.

Sounds like a really risky gamble, and I am feeling a strong mix of anger and fear, especially with the variants. Hope my appointment for the second dose won’t be cancelled.
