He is no "fake". He is a mastermind.

He is somewhat grandiose, but that's the nice thing when he asks Doc Manhattan if, in the end, he had done right.

The Big Blue says to childlike Veidt that nothing ends, never ends.

I'm not saying he's fake in that way.. I'm saying he's "fake" as he is misleading as to portray himself as something else (i.e. Not a complete psycho who wants a perfect world created by the slaughtering of thousand upon thousands.)

Eh... I haven't really kept up with this, in what kind of direction is this movie going to go? From the looks of it definitely not realistic, since the costumes look like from a fan movie. What works in comics, doesn't necessarily work in real life. Though there are a few exceptions like Superman and Spider-Man. That guy with the super fake muscles looks the worst of the entire bunch.

They look like what they're supposed too at least mostly and are good quality.

They're going for an almost exact adaptation so getting close to the original but making them look a better on-screen is all they did.

That's the thing. They look exactly like they were taking straight from a comic cover. Which putting into a realistic environment just looks silly. Imagine the X-Men movies had all their characters run around in spandex, as much as I love the costume in the comics, on screen it would've looked laughable.

here is the beautiful thing about this movie:
Its actually a comic book movie, everything in it is taken straight from the book including the backgrounds and set-pieces.. if anything they fit right at home.

I'm really interested to see what Doc Manhattan looks like. I still can't see Billy Crudup as the character, but I guess since he's going to be almost completely CG, that won't really matter.

I don't mind the costumes. I really like Comedian and Rorscach, nightowl is okay(I didn't like it at first, but it does work to show how smart he is when it comes to building gadgets and stuff, plus archmedes looks great) but I can't see how he can become pudgy, silk spectre looks kinda ****ty but she's supposed to, and the only suit I dislike is ozymandius. I think it's the picture because it looks really fake, but I guess I'll wait til more stuff comes out to judge it. Otherwise Great!

Yeah he's a great actor. I still weep that we didn't get Keanu Reeves, I think he would've been perfect for Manhattan.
