Could a new Batman and Robin movie work?

I'm pretty sure there's a new solo Batman movie being planned after BvS and Justice League. But what if its a Batman and Robin movie? A good one and not a campy one. Contrary to popular opinion I really do think its a logical and not cheesy way to portray Robin.

I read Ben Affleck's Batman will be older, well what if for the new Batman movie it acts a sort of a prequel showing a younger Bruce adopting Dick Grayson and helping him hone his anger and training him? I think it could work, especially if modeled after the Dark Victory book.

We have plenty of solo Batman now. Let's go back to the Dynamic Duo, with a younger Robin this time.

I think a Batman and Robin movie could have always worked, I think people are dismissive over the idea because of the poor movies that Joel Schumacher gave us, for me they were just bad movies with bad renditions of Robin. Robin is a great character and it's a true shame he hasn't been done justice yet on the big screen.

I definitely think it could work. if we're talking about batflecks batman, then I guess tim drake in mid teens should be the robin at the time. Grayson should be in his mid twenties, Todd should be dead for his 4th or 5th year getting ready to make a return maybe putting him in his early twenties.

Yeah it'd be great to see Robin's evolution. I'd prefer Grayson though but if they go with Affleck present age Bruce then Tim is the way to go. Hell, maybe even Carrie from TDKR.

The Batman movies we never really got to see Bruce grow as a kid dealing with the loss of his parents. With Robin, we can show someone young dealing with that tragedy while having a mentor that's been through the same thing. Throw in Tony Zucco mob story, maybe have Two-Face and Black Mask and Penguinand other mobsters in the mix. First movie could be Robin, and by the second he becomes Nightwing.

I'd probably do it over four movies though(2 Batcentric/2 Robin) and don't rush making him Robin.

1-New Batman movie. No origin. Make the killer unknown.
2-introduce the Grayson storyline but make it a background story of hunting the killer/ Bruce dealing with Joe Chill and the murder. Ends with him adopting the Grayson boy.
3-(Cast the kid)And begin the introduction of Dick being a worthy successor but just begin the training idea.
4-Escalate the threat in Gotham that Bats/GPD need more help and bring in the idea of Bats being able to cover more ground ala Robin. But I wouldn't put him in costume until the end.

I'd probably angle this version in the more horror-gothic side with Man-Bat, Mr. Freeze, and Hush style villains.

This is a nice idea, but from what I'm hearing, Batman is gonna be older than we have ever seen on the big screen, time wise that suggests to me that Dick is already Nightwing and we could either be on Tim or maybe even Jason as Robin, maybe your ideas or something similar could be told in flashbacks.

Why not just kinda skip to a Red Hood Movie ? Instead of Dick have Jason in the first Ben Affleck solo movie & do a two part with the first one ending with Jason's death & then the end credits scene can be the resurrection of Jason then the second one is Red Hood in full. Then have Nightwing more featured in the second movie as well helping Batman out

I agree, plus I think if they do make another solo Batman movie people will always try to compare it with TDK
