Could I get some help with Live?

Ok I joined Xbox Live and I'm a Gold member. I started my Halo 3 game and when I went to create a game no one joined in bellow my name. I need help! How do I get to were I can join in on peoples games and why have I have not had any people join mine.

It's because your router is blocking your Xbox. I had the same thing with CoD4.

I figured it out. I just had to go to matchmaking.
