I was thinking about my idea for a Superman Returns II script, and without going into details, Clark is back at the farm and either daydreaming, dreaming, or simply remembering his trip back to Krypton, similiar to how he had the flashback of him discovering his powers. I think it could work, what about you?

And please only opinions that aren't there solely to start issues on how much YOU hated the movie. This is mainly for those who wish to talk about a sequel for a movie they enjoyed.

Deleted scenes in a sequel would look awfully funny in a movie that will have nothing to do with this one.

Would it look funnier than some guy spending all his time in a forum discussing something he obviously hates? Probably not.

It would probably look about as funny as you sucking on your momma's tit cause you can't believe your sequels gonna get made asshat.

Anybody smell that? Smells like....bannination...

Mods, might as well close the thread. These guys make it hard to have any kind of discussion without them revealing their single digit age and IQ numbers with such profound posts that involve the usage of the word 'asshat'.

If there was any young Clark footage that could definately come into play. So could the parts when an older Clark enters the barn or what not.

I think New Krypton could be something important in the sequels, and maybe there is a news report about how scientists have discovered it, and that there might be life on it. And this parallels the idea that maybe old Krypton had life, which triggers the flashback of his journey back to it.

Thats an idea as well. I wonder how many of the cuts scenes the DVD will actually have.

Yeah, I would rather have all the deleted scenes back in the movie, so that you could use branching to watch either the theatrical or the director's cut. Sadly, the branching feature is rarely used in DVDs (unless its porn...:() despite being such a great feature.

Good ole branching. It's funny how Singer said he didn't even want a directors cut, that his cut was the directors cut. d

If they are doing a sequel to Returns based what Singer, Dougherty, and Harris started there are alot of avenues to explore. I think Clark on the farm and in Metropolis as a character has alot left to be explored in a sequel.

I think the problem with using the Krypton footage in a sequel would be that it wouldn't fit with storyline, he wouldn't really be looking back on on his voyage as much because he knows that there is another here on earth.
