Could this be the new Hulk design/look?

Looks like back in '97, they were going with the more common sense idea of the Hulk getting more muscular as he got angrier, and not taller, like he did for the Ang Lee movie.
As it should have been done.

Wow. That would've been awesome if they did him Jim Henson style. But the speed and ferocity would not come off well at all. Glad that they went CG. His size and proportions are totally inhuman.

I think the idea was to use an actor in a make-up suit for some scenes, the animatronic in some others and a early prototype of a CGI Hulk for him leaping. They even showed a test reel of the CGI character in some FX convention back then.
And there was a photo of the Latex exterior for the animatronic body leaked on the net.

it means yes, those were concept drawings, but from long ago in 1997. no ties to this movie, none.

Other comic films due out this summer have already started their hype, like the Dark Knight. However, I believe that the Hulk needs more hype than other films like batman, in order to recover from the Ang Lee disaster. Since they haven't shown anything than they are working on something spectacular. And in order for them to have enough time to build a good hype, they need a good six months to build it. Combining the six months factor with a spectacular unveiling, than we can expect them to release us something in the holidays, since it is when people go out to see flicks the most (during the winter season). Besides didn't they already show a clip to some University students recently?

I think someone should throw Silver Knight into a trunk and beat it with a bat. Listen, you WILL SEE THE TRAILER AROUND CHRISTMAS!!! Stop (SK)being a baby already, gosh! No I wont show any pics of him because I am not goin spoil it for everyone. Watch the trailer. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Please dont ask me about pics. Some of them are not finished and Its not fair to the developers. Ok?

ok i know im a bit late with the pic, but i just found that magazine!! here is what hulk could of looked like if the 90's movie came to be:

i think as a life size hulk, it looks mad, and id love to have it in my lounge!! but on the big screen this would of looked crap. cgi is the only way to do the hulk.

This was conceptual art from before Ang Lee's Hulk! Check out the face and the body shape...it's the same as the silohette from the comic con and the pic shown on the screen at the panel. Did they go back to this??? Notice he's 9ft tall. This is from 1997. Zak's script was from 1996. Hmmmmmmm.
