Showtime without the 029, presents:

HAPPY NEWS OF THE DAY inspired by Wilhelm Scream

Karen and Mark Cline were teenagers when they got married and did not have $150 to pay a photographer for their wedding photos. But now they have the pictures, just in time for their 27th anniversary on Thursday. Their photographer located Karen Cline last week at the diner where she works and surprised her with a photo album.

"I just stood there and cried and cried and hugged him," she said, tearing up again as she described their meeting. Photographer Jim Wagner, who is now 80, said Mark Cline had paid him a deposit of $50 to shoot pictures at the wedding, but the couple never ordered any of the photos he took. He said Karen Cline explained at the time that the couple had just bought a home and were paying off other expenses and could not afford to order any of the pictures.

"About a month ago, I was just cleaning out some of my old things and I found it," said Wagner. "I knew she didn't have any money back then, and I just thought she might like to have it." Karen Cline said she was 18 at the time, and felt heartsick because she and her husband, who was 19, could not afford to pay Wagner. Instead, all they have had was a single photo that someone else took, of her walking down the aisle. Wagner said he was able to track down Karen Cline after running into her stepfather a few weeks ago. He said she immediately wrote him a check for $150.

Aw, that is rather precious. What a nice anniversary gift, I can't imagine not having pictures of your own wedding!

Its nice to see a story like that.

how da bad place did you change your name???

Mr 7000+ is no more. Death to numbers!!

at least not everything is bad news

I want to add numbers to my name.

27 years ago, $150 was worth like $2000 today. What business do 18 year olds who are getting married have getting pictures taken for that much anyway? Dummies.

Couples can pay anywhere from $2000-$5000 for wedding photos nowadays, sometimes even more.
