CRACKDOWN hands on "Its like Hulk meets GTA"

Wasn't HULK UD like HULK meets GTA?

No, that was just HULK in a sandbox style game. If Hulk could have driven cars, shoot stuff and other GTA type things then it would have been HULK meets GTA.

I wish the Hulk could shoot things. :(

DACMAN, it's always good to see you.

Anyways, this is one of those games I'm always looking forward to, and always forgetting about.

Too many good 360 exclusives coming out.

I only just started playing HULK UD yesterday :(

Its quite good... Makes the statement from IGN about CRACKDOWN very promising indeed.

Thanks. Same here. I think it'd be sort of silly if the HULK could shoot things. He can destroy a building with his hands. So him shooting something seems, I don't know, weak? It'd be like giving the Punisher a golf club and saying do your thing. It seems to under-cut the character.

Are you kidding me!? You've never played HULK UD? It's easily one of the best games I've ever played. Yes, I said ever. Not on the Xbox, or this generation, but ever.

One of the things I love about it is the fact you can play through the game again with all the new moves. I hate games where you have to play all the way through it and up your character to finally be the "real" character at the end, only to have to do it all over again if you actually play the game again. As much as I loved Spider-Man 2, I don't know if I'll play through it again because of that. I don't want to start over with no moves, and swing slow as all get out. I've earned the right to all those moves already. It's like being able to drive 100 miles an hour, then having to drive 20 again. It's no longer fun, it seems so darn slow now. HULK doesn't do that to you. Every game needs to follow suit.

I just remembered that the Hulk could throw Missles, so I kind of guess he had a gun... in function? Maybe? No?

Well, come on. Missles are different than bullets.

To all those who doubted this game would be good, I have one thing to say:

''Told you so''

Only two people really commented on the game. :down

hulk meets gta?!

wow... count me in. i don't really like the art style of the game, but i can get over that if it's as good as it looks to be.

I've been saying since September that this would be the best game.

I might dare say I am looking forward to this more than Gears of War.:O

I saw the early screens of Crackdown in a magazine... it seems truly astounding... some of the systems they described... taking apart criminal factions piece by piece... killing the weapons lieutennant so that the main base's guards will have less firepower... really great stuff...

The supercops sound cool, and, early on, they were talking about a Live Function that made it a two player partner-cop game... that you could call for backup ingame and your game would be availble to join on life... I thought that was hot.

HULK meets GTA? It's like a good thing and a bad thing. To me it's like gold covered poop. I'd rather just have the gold, aka HULK UD 2.
