It just came out yesterday, and it has a ton of free movies and TV shows. It's kinda like Netflix lite, but hey, it's free.

Check it out and DL if you guys like free media.

I'm surprised that they didn't release a Crackle app for the PS3 considering that Sony owns it.

Yeah, I heard about that, but didn't know if they released it for PS3.

I just find it odd that MS even let it on their system. Back when Netflix streaming was still new, any movie that was owned by Sony wasn't allowed on the Xbox-Netflix. I could watch SM3 on my PS3 Netflix, but it wouldn't even show up to watch on my 360.

I'm not surprised that Microsoft let it on their system. Microsoft wants the Xbox 360 to be a central hub of the living room and in order to do so, it needs the major video apps like Netflix, Hulu, VuDu, CinemaNow, YouTube, Amazon, and Crackle. It doesn't matter who owns the platform, they want it all.

I'm just surprised that Sony let it on the damn system. You know, considering that Microsoft is a competitor to Sony. What makes it even more boggling is that while they made the Crackle website compatible with the PlayStation 3 browser (which sucks), they still haven't made a Crackle app for the PlayStation 3. I'm surprised that Google hasn't made a YouTube app for the system either.
