People are stupid. I've got a friend who thinks the name is stupid and wont go see it.
 
My buddies won't see it. Sooo I say **** em. I'm definitely seeing it opening day

I will never understand that. What is stupid about the freakin' title? I can't think of anything.

I think 99% of the movie going public must have never heard of "Cowboys and Indians".
 
^Certain people say idiotic things such as Hollywood finally running out of ideas and making movies about stupid ideas such as Cowboys and Aliens. And this is one of the more original movies to come out this summer. Hollywood is stuck in reboot/remake mode while this looks like it could be pretty fun.

C&A not being another reboot/sequel is a huge plus IMO. Some people will not see any geek movies that are not sequels or based off a comic they've read a million times before. I say #$@* those people. I'll be there on Friday.
 
People aren't foolish for not wanting to see this film. The name is stupid and it looks boring as hell and now it has mixed reviews. Not good.
 
I still think it looks awesome. The cinematography is beautiful.

I'm glad you want the movie to fail. The name isn't stupid. And it looks like fun.
 
It's got Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig playing cowboys. And it's got aliens. And they fight each other.

So hell yeah, I'm seeing this. :wow:

This is on my must see list for the summer as well. If people can't get past the title I'm probably better off not sitting in a theater with them anyway.
 
They should have called it Indiana Jones and James Bond Vs. Aliens

BILLION. DOLLAR. OPENING.

Its hilarious they think this title is stupid, but snakes on a plane is a brilliant title. I guarantee most of these people loved that movie.

Matthew Libatique! :up: Besides all the names, he is really the main reason I want to see this in theaters. He's young yet already such an established DP. I guess having a bromance with Aronofsky will do that.

Honestly don't know. I think he was attached only for Aronofsky. That would be a dream if he stays.
 
This movie keeps going lower and lower on RT. I don't get it lol.
 
So Cowboys & Aliens vs The Smurfs this weekend. The blue bastards will be winning I would think
