I was expecting two stars, from the trailer it seemed a rehash of action films including Statham's Transporter. Might be worth a look.

Yes, the movie was called "Snatch," and its one of the best films ever made.

To me, it looks like a throwback to the good 'ol days where action was about these crazy, badass dudes that just kicked ass.

Yeah, they got stale......and yeah the cowboys of the 80's are gone. But, I think it's cool we get a nice throwback every now and again. If we got as many as we did back in the day, then yeah....it might be a problem. But, it's just a part of that action genre that I totally dig.

Staham is kinda like the new Norris, Van Damme or something. Know what I mean?

No, he's right. The best action films had actual story, and good characters. Predator, Aliens, Die Hard, Terminator, these movies and their sequels.
