Caught it last night, a damn good original action flick that held my attention beginning to end. Highly recommended.

I watched it on Saturday and was very surprised. It doesn't take itself seriously and is meant to be an over the top action film.

I really enjoyed it and the public sex scene had me laughing my ass off. t:

Edit: Wow! That was cool. Basically a two dimensional video game but directed with a certain style that is totally tongue in cheek. It was paced like Charlie Sheen's "The Chase", and it also reminded me of a more frantic version of Running Scared mixed with a little DOA (movie) & Hitman (the video game). Come to think about it a Crank video game would be awesome. Instead of finding health packs you'd need nasal spray, adrenaline, etc...I could watch it again. Pretty fun. Mindless fun.

One thing I don't care for on the dvd is the "cranked out mode". I found it distracting but intriguing.

Well.....if you've seen the film already, then it's not bad at all. The picture in picture was kinda cool as well as having some stuff thrown in there by Statham and Smart.

I found the Family Friendly audio track to be funny as hell too.

Porblem is, that's basically all there is on the DVD. Really really thin extras.

If you watch after the credits....you actually see a video game version of the movie that's just like that....lol


The Cranked out mode was cool I thought. Better than the average regular commentary. the directors...those dudes are funny man. Also...there was a family friendly Edit audio....hilarious. lol

Saw it tonight,it's like a gross out comedy only with violence instead of jokes but it is entertaining.it just doesn't stay with you as it has no heart which i guess was it's point

It's a 2d movie. Really no depth but the movie knows that and let's us know it knows that so it's just a rollercoaster ride. It's fun and over the top and over fast.

Fun film. Looking forward to what the director's will do in the future. They seemd like the Wachowski's, if you could reach into their heads, remove all religion, philosophy and politics; and replace them with snowboarding, Tarantino and girls gone wild videos.

Chev was just another dirt bag wanna be gangsta, but the plot device turns him into this relentless nuetron bomb that only kills criminals. I liked the saturated colors and moving camera a lot better than Tony Scotts' contributions to this style. Perhaps limited budget and time helped with the overall frenetecism.

Yeah...this is the best "videogame" movie ever made...lol. I'd love to see these guys actually adapt a REAL videogame. Cause they do alot with a limited budget
