Create YOUR own Tag-Line for "Spider-Man 3"

Hmm..how about

"One More Time...With EMOtion!"

:D

I'd like to see something simplistic, implying that Pete's about to snap:

With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.
With Great Responsibility Comes, ...

or

Power. Responsibility. Failure.

My tagline was really similar to this with the first tagline thread from before, it was:

"With greater power . . ."

That way it is a twist on the classic line everyone knows, but leaves the question open for the viewer to think about. (Even though spidey fans know that the greater power means the symbiote, and the symbiote means corruption due to that excess power). So it works for both crowds I guess.

"blonde red head or red headed blonde"
"now hes black"
"new costume.....new chick"
"thats right... the guy on the poster is the kid from that 70's show"

Is that the best you guys can do?:)

Emagine 3 posters that's ment to go hand in hand (just like destiny, choice & sacrifice). These 3 however on the contrary will be dark in tone - just like the 3 for spidey 2 had this very ORANGE glow. Get my drift?

Poster 1:
Has Black spidey hanging up-side down above the city, with the reflection of his red & blue suit in the window. Pretty much in the same environment as seen in the teaser. At the top of the poster it says "DEMONS".

Poster 2:
Has black spidey lifting a truck above his head in the middle of Manhatten, while bi-standers are looking in amazement! At top it says "POWER".

Poster 3:
Has black spidey with his back to the poster, ripping off the suit in front of a belltower! At top it says "DEFEAT".

NOW, this movie is A LOT BIGGER then the previous two films - both in scope, complexinsy, not to mention in production! Therefor I dont think that character posters ON THE SIDE is too much for this epic picture, DO YOU? In fact I think it's pretty much in order to show off the new beautiful characters within the film.

Character Posters!

Poster 1:
Has Harry in full Goblin gear on his glider, except, he's holding the mask in his hand! Same dramatic feel to it, as the one from spidey 2 that has spidey with his back to the poster, holding the mask in his hand:) That one is my favorite poster for spidey 2! It's not ment to be a half-cheasy poster like the one from spidey 1 with Green Goblin (no offence). Harry should look mad YET torn!

Poster 2:
Very simple, they should use the poster from comic-con! Remember the one with sandman (with his back towards the poster), arm half sandmass, having a little girl holding a teddy bear protected behind him! And a cop car is seen between his legs. That's so freaken cool!!!

Poster 3:
Has Eddie Brock on his knees in a church, praying. Reflection on the floor shows a huge shadow of VENOM! (SCARY!!!)

NO! I dont think we should have a full poster of VENOM!!! Why? (and please try to understand) Because for the last time, VENOM is a surprise character (one hell of a cool one!) who's in the FINAL fightsequence. THEREFOR there should be NO full blow-out poster of VENOM - as if he's a major part of the film. We dont need no lamo X3 posters! Can you believe that they had ANGEL as a character poster IN A FREAKEN X-MEN SUIT...Hello!!! He never ****ing wore it in the film! That left every one disappointed when you realize that he's NOT wearing it in the film, and that he was anything BUT a major part of the movie. We dont want that kind of disappointment in Spidey 3 (these posters should show off exactly what the film carries with it, nothing more). People will look at a VENOM poster and say "Holy Crap, what's that!?", wondering what's the deal with this villain. Emagine their disappointment when they realize that VENOM is only in the movie for the last 10 minutes or so. ALL will be irritated that they hyped this mean mother****er up to be such a huge part of the film and then he's not in it, except for the last fight sequence. That's why a huge scary VENOM shadow on the floor, in the Eddie Brock character poster will do just fine! It'll leave every one thinking "What's the deal with that!?", and then at the end of the film when VENOM shows up they'll understand the context of the whole thing. The result will be nothing other then SWEET EYE-CANDY for every one!!!;) Every one will think it's the coolest (how could they not?) But if VENOM gets his own character poster, not only will people get majorly disappointed, but it'll take out the mystery and thrilling wonder of just what the hell we will see in the final battle.. Please guys, tell me that you can follow:(

So, what do you think of all this???

I have this idea for upcoming posters:

What if like the one in theaters right now where it goes from his red and blue to the symbiote costume you have:

1. Where it's Peter and Harry from movie 1 and the bottom it says "Friends" and then it transitions to movie 3 where it shows them like they are the trailer facing off against each other with the tagline "Enemies."

2. Peter and M.J. with the tagline "Love" and then it transitions to Peter and Gwen with a crying M.J. saying "Jealousy."

3. Peter and Eddie- "Opposites" where it has them as normal photographers for the Bugle than it transitions to Spider-Man and Venom.

4. And lastly one where it goes from Flint Marko with the tagline "Family Man" and then transitions to "Villain With A Jaded Past" or something along those lines.

I have one! I have one!

The poster is an image of Peter fighting with the symbiote on the bell tower and the tagline reads:

Suit Happens...

NinjaTurtleFan! I like your idea, great thinking! However I think that would be too expensive if they were to cover it worldwide though:)

It's okay; I'm just getting a little mad at people that take my idea and say that they came up with it first. Like a person in the caption thread who followed my caption with practically the same one and said that he came up with it way before I did, even though I posted before him and I was the first to find the pic. Anyway...

"Fine people who grew up in the early 90's and don't know of any other villains...Venom is in this one so quit complainin'".

"posessed, darkeness that drives us, a venom that can destroy us", i just though of it.

"The Inner Battle For Strength Outside" <kinda lame I think but whatever

"The Greates Battle...Lies Within The Darkness" (hmm...)

maybe something like

"When you're fighting against your inner demons, how do you control the oustide ones?"

^That one could symbolize the villainy that is the symbiote, Eddie, Harry, AND Sandman.

I LOVE IT!

They should DEFINETLY make a poster like that.

And if not that poster, have a poster like this...

A lenticular poster with Eddie kneeling down in the church crying and we can SLIGHTLY see the symbiote right above his head and the tagline is "Tragedy", then changes to the symbiote enveloping him and basically looks like his comic-con poster...he's half-transformed and the tagline is "Pain", then finally changes to the finished Venom and the tagline is "Venom".

^^That's be good.

So, what do you think of all this???

Very nice ideas.

My idea for a Harry poster would be a little different.

Imagine a close-up of Harry's face, he's not looking at you, the viewer, really, but past you like he's lost in his own thoughts. In his eyes you can see the hurt and confusion that's been tugging at him since he found out Peter's secret. The backgound is nothing but darkness, but just below his head, you can see a faint greenish glow, where it's obvious he's holding onto the Osborne formula, and wondering what he should do: Avenge his father, or let his friendship with Peter shine through the hatred?

Across the top of the poster is one word: "Conflict"

Cool idea..but I must say that I'm still against them showing a full VENOM figure in a poster... But something tells me that WILL happen.

Sandman, holding his daughter.

"FAMILY"

Poster #3
