neeh i will whait until a member with more posts confirms the Wade ending.

Meh. The only reason i went to see Wolverine is to see how the finished VFX shots would look like. One time IMO is enough and i'll wait for the endings to arrive on Youtube.
I have seen the unfinished workprint and i honestly wasn't that impressed.
Yes some shots turned out to be better ( Wade's first action sequence was improved alot with the added blur when he's spinning the swords. It gives the illusion that he really is spining them that fast).

But yeah IMO the movie was just a letdown. Could've been better but Fox always plays it safe .

5/10

btw here's a question that's been bugging me.

In the movie Sabretooth always seem to own a pre-adamantium Wolverine. During their fight , Sabretooth easily defeats WOlverine and breaks of his boneclaws.
Now Wolverine gets his adamantium skeleton to have the advantage over Sabretooth. Here's where things get a bit nitpicky.
Wolverine is a superhuman but not so much that he improves physically after the adamantium treatment. The only advantage are the metal claws. He's actually packed on a good extra pounds due to the metal being attached to his body. So that would mean that he'd be slower since he's heavier. Yet when he's dueling with Sabretooth not only is he moving faster but he's also stronger.

BTW, did they used some effect to enhance Bolt's powers?

The same happened in the comics, except that the movie didn't show any differences about the healing factor (faster without addamantium). It makes sense that he is stronger, with harder bones, his support on his entire body has been increased.
In the comics, when Wolverine lost his addamantium, and Sabretooth gained metal bones, Logan was owned (even claws broken)

I've already posts the text below in the Taylor Kitsch/Gambit Thread, but I wanted to post it here too. If that's not allowed, just leave me a note and I will not do it again. There's not really spoilers in here, but just in case I put blackout and spoiler tags, just for sure.

I've just come back from seeing the movie. Regardless of what everyone says, and even though I've seen the leak... I really enjoyed it! [BLACKOUT]There ARE some things different from the leak, not a lot, but still[/BLACKOUT]... For the ones that have seen the leak, it's still worth watching it in the theatre.

There's one thing I'm a bit disappointed about, and it's more about the sound than about what's going on in the movie. I'm going to put it in spoiler tags, but it's not really a spoiler. So if you really want to read it, go ahead, but if you don't want to, just stay away from the "show" button.
After having seen the leak and now the finished one, I noticed that the sound differs. In the leaked version, Gambit's voice (after the whole club and fight scene), sounds great. For real. Now, in the finished version it sounds like Taylor voiced over the lines. His voice does sound like it's a voice over. And that's a small minus for me.
But other than that, it's great, enough character development for most characters and Gambit is just awesome. I'm definitely going to buy it when it's released on DVD.

Or maybe I'm just biased. :p

You should of stayed after the credits, all of them have the Stryker bit. The Logan/Wade scenes are AFTER the credits.

Oh. Drat. The Stryker scene did come someway through the credits, i thought that was it! Most people had left anyway.

Dayyum, sorry man. But everywhere I've read people have said the Stryker scene is like mid credit, then the Logan or Wade scene is right at the very end. They could all be lying, but that is a lot of people who have got their lies the same! :D

I can't remember which comic it was whether Uncanny X-men or Wolverine's solo comic but I remember reading that Adamantium weighs little to nothing.

That's in the comics though, in X-2 Deathstrike sinks and clunks when she hits the bottom of the tub of water so who knows in the movieverse.

Oh, I forgot in my review post: I give it an 8/10, maybe even 9/10. I really really really enjoyed it. I don't care if it was true to the comics or not. Movie verse is a whole different area.

Actually I've seen comics profiles that list his weight with and without adamantium. It definitely doesn't weigh little to nothing.

Even in the cartoons the weight of the adamantium gets mentioned, like in the one Evolution episode where Wolverine swam on shore and Sabertooth was waiting for him. He was noting his little swimming problem.

I have one thing to say.... ARE YOU DEADPOOL FANS HAPPY NOW?!?!

Wade is alive and well... Weapon XI was a Wade Clone....

!!!!!

Really?

. . . . but what's up with Wade? Was he the guy that's scarred at the end?

Glad to hear that for the Deadpool fans in here if that is indeed true.

What good is that if that info is buried?

Looks like it's a bad year for comic book fans so far. Spirit, WINO, the Heroes' horrid season ending...

Well yea he picks up Weapon XIs head and says something to it apparently, I've heard it loads of places.

If it's true

"The plot is riddled with more holes than a holiday resort for moles".

I LOL'D.

Hey Knaves, was that Deadpool ending confirmed on SHH or somewhere else?
Would that confirm the Spaced and Confused post awhile back?

A couple people on imdb were saying that
he just reaches for his head and says ssshhhh or something like that and that there was no Clone. Imdb though.

I find it strange that all five of the reviews on Rotten Tom's are good reviews...I guess me and the other purist fans are overly critical but I'll stand by my 6 out of 10. Can't wait til Friday!
