Taken was a hit because Fox didn't make it![]()
They marketed and distributed it so they were factors in it's success.

I will say, quickly, that I enjoyed Wolverine and wouldn't call it great, but liked it more than I was expecting. I think my expectations had been brought down because of all the negative buzz from the leaked version, but seeing a finished and polished version was great. As for the secret ending we saw,it featured Deadpool, and the only other thing I'll say - is that he may be coming back

So it is indeed the same as the leak. He liked it so that is good but I think we will be seeing a lot of it could have been great or it wasn't as good as I expected lines in all the reviewsHood explained that there were 400 unfinished visual effects shots and that there was no score, unfinished sound mixing, and unfinished color timing. However, he didn't mention anything about differences in actual footage.
Different endings at different theatres is about the most stupid thing that I have heard of![]()

How is it not dumb? It is a smart financial move but that is about the most ridiculous thing I have seen in marketing in a while; making different prints of the movie have different content.I wouldn't expect anything less from you
It won't bring them much more $$$ but it's fun.
Others expressing their opinions of this film shouldn't "ruin it" for you. If it does, that's a reflection on you, not on the people expressing their opinions of the movie. You are in a minority because only 218 people reviewed X-Men 3 on RT (123 of which were fresh), compared to the 90,000+ who voted on IMDB. X-Men 3 was also one of the top selling DVD's of 2006, and overall X-Men 3 is considered a good successful movie.
I don't think the movie is teh awesome because I haven't seen it. I've just defending it against hating fanboys who didn't get what they wanted and continue to tell us how much they hated on this forum, (dare I say ruining it for everyone else)

It's the scene after the credits. I won't last more than 15 seconds. It's not much a big deal. I wouldn't call it the "the most ridiculous thing I have seen in marketing in a while" but then again i'm not anti-Fox/Wolverine like you are, and you obviously haven't seen this:
The problem is, doing this to try and get the rabid fanboys to see it again just for the endings.
As Chaseter said, it's a great marketing ploy but it sucks they didn't just show the multiple endings on all prints just as the credits went by.
Rabid fanboys will probably see it more than once anyhow.

How am I in the minority? X-Men 3 got a 50 something on RT...what does that mean? A 7/10 on IMDB is a C. Are you happy with C grade moviesDo you just love C grade cinema? I don't care what the general public likes as I have already listed many movies that are utter garbage that the general audience eats up. You are in the minority on here that think this movie is teh awesome.
How is it a bad thing that I want better films for the heroes that I grew up with and love? How is that a bad thing? How is not settling for mediocrity such a nasty awful thing?

How utterly....weird.I haven't even heard from him since the banning (which is odd, because if you think he was bad on here, you should have seen the PMs he sent me after his infractions), and I really think that AICN report sent him into hiding.
So he's gone, let's let him fade into obscurity now.
Even for this place! It's probably not THAT smart of a financial move, since it complicates printing and distributing. People don't do that for free. Plus in order to get the general public aware of it, they'd have to openly advertise that different endings exist. And I bet that if they do that, it'll backfire since the general public will be like, "WTF I'm not going to pay $10 more to see an extra minute of footage! We're in a recession!"How is it not dumb? It is a smart financial move but that is about the most ridiculous thing I have seen in marketing in a while; making different prints of the movie have different content.
I wasn't the one who called someone in the minority first...quote that one. I merely responded to it by using the terms they used.
7/10 = C...I see no other way to take that.
If is your opinion and it is my opinion and I agree with you on that. I don't care if the general audience loves this, I didn't.
56% is pretty bad dude.
Well I thought X3 was a 7/10 and I thought this was a 6/10 sooooo. All of our opinions will differ which is why we were talking about a more unbiased source and a source where people who are more versed in cinema than we are post their consensus.I rate it higher than a 7/10. I rate the movie a 9 / 10 (we're talking X-Men 3 here - Wolverine I'd probably give an 8 / 10)
THAT is my other way of taking it.
However, he says the review will be in the newspaper on Sunday. The same is probably true for other newspapers.Because of a worldwide online embargo, you'll have to wait until Monday at 8pm UK time to read my musings on Hugh Jackman's latest outing as the cigar-chomping, adamantium-clawed superhero.
Hmmm well Wolverine was... you know I didn't hate it, I enjoyed quite a bit but it's nothing amazing... I'd say see it maybe?
Yes I will confirm than it is definitely better than X3, by quite a bit, I thought!
Well, Hugh Jackman kicked some ass, I just love seeing him as Wolverine... And there was a badass Deadpool fight early on.
