Crysis Beta Goes Public

You have to meet the requirements, but I got in without any trouble. I'm glad I don't have to wait until October 20th or whenever they said the demo was coming.

You're not missing much. The beta is really, really fun when you get good people...which is incredibly rare. Most people just run around the island, amazed that plants move with them instead of phasing through them

It looks awesome though, and runs great on "high" graphics settings at 1280x1024, even though my computer isn't cutting edge. The only thing that really gives it away as a beta so far is that shaders don't want to compile until about 30 seconds into the game, so when you first start, everything looks ****ed up.
