Just had my wife pick the book up for me. The author thanks a friend for giving him the issue that inspired this story-but dosen't name the Spider-Man comic or issue. I guess that means that this novel is not part of continuity.

Just read up on this new novel with Spidey, Black Cat and Morlun. Need to pick this up now.

I just finished the novel. If you like a lot of MJ in your Spidey reading this one has it.Without spoiling anything- there are three of Morluns kin folk in the story.

Rhino would stay dead, he does crap all. But he's needed. And no, not EVERYONE dies to come back, but I know what you mean. He won't die though. I don't want to have this convo (no offense). It'd be such a crap move by Marvel. Just because Punisher will beat him doesn't mean he could kill him. People are reading into that image waaay too much now. I can't even entertain the idea, I'd end up sending a strongly worded letter to Marvel. Oh yeah!!! I'd do it too...

Ummm, ok you do that. They HAVE said however that Punisher will kill villians in this series. Besides, the rhino is a guy in a retarted suit. He could be like Kraven. Someone else in the suit might just do the guy some good.

If you look at the teasers offered by Marvel, you can see Rhino is fighting Punisher. Using a Big Revolver like Rifle, the Punisher shattered Rhino's armor, much to Rhino's surprise, in close range. I don't know what will happen next, but perhaps Punisher will put some bullet into the exposed Rhino and end this silly villan's career once and for all.
