Don't know if there's a thread like this or not. I'd thought I'd make a thread where people can post DVD covers they made.:yay: Here's two I made in five minutes, so forgive the crappyness:yay:

moviefans are awesome, keep up the good work.

david, um..not to be rude but it looks like you are spending like 5 minutes on these things. slow down, come up with a good design (which i know it hard sometimes) and put it together, dont throw it together.

... are you making them in paint?

Awesome Back to the Future and Casino Royale covers.

I did this DVD way back in like 2002 during school, but it was fun...

Here's the cover sleeve. I came up with the idea to use a paper/wax bag design of whatever the heck that Chocolate Pretzel stand was in Mallrats as the sleeve. The sleeve for the DVD is cardstock, but I melted a twix bar, mashed it in my fingers, made a few chocolatey/crumby fingerprints on rumpled paper, and scanned it. People who've seen the movie, got the joke and felt gross just touching the sleeve, lol.

close up of the design behind the DVD disc...it's the blueprints for demolishing the stage, if the glare from the camera is in the way of your view...

this thing has been on my shelf for 5 years now. I threw out the original box for Mallrats a long time ago and use this as it's replacement, lol.
