Brainiac is the only villain who could not only get Lex and Superman to team up, but also go toe to toe with other heroes like Hawkgirl and Green Lantern. I am expecting the sequel to be epic in scope.

Would be good if they give Corenswet his own Super Theme this time around. As much as I loved this revamp of the John Williams scores, it just sounded like they were trying to sell him to us as the new Christopher Reeves, the needle drops were so forced that it became sour. Let him be his own man.

When he runs for president, his political party is actually called the Tomorrow Party. Maybe Luthor will help Superman fight Brainiac, then use his restored reputation as a platform to launch his political career.

Gunn’s comments remind me of how the comics were split up between Superman, Adventures of Superman and Action Comics. My bet is this will be an “Action Comics” type situation.

I'm not mad about it. But annoyed that all we're getting until 2028 are superman/batman character films.

Now apart from that, i assume this will be yet another unconventional superman "sequel" with i assume Lex taking on more of the main character role while Superman takes on the more supporting lead.

I expect Supergirl to be in this. Would prefer her over the JG

2026 - Lanterns / Supergirl / Clayface
2027 - Man of Tomorrow

Considering that's a third of the way through the "10-year plan," it is fairly underwhelming.

Man of Tomorrow is such a good title for the follow-up. Though, I doubt that Lex will actually be a bigger character than Superman in this but, who knows. Stranger things and all that...

I just think this is a slick way of titling this film in a way that speaks to both leads--Superman & Lex

Brainiac makes sense (he's a big enough threat to require Lex's help) but I wonder if there's any other threat brewing that we're overlooking...

The Batman Part 2 is Elseworlds, but you of all people leaving it out.

I still think Sgt. Rock will get thrown in there somewhere; maybe 2027.

Then 2028 is Wonder Woman and Brave and the Bold. After the success of Weapons, I could see them revisiting Cregger's Henchman script too (would be strange to have BATB in development while TBPII is being promoted, so maybe they'll push BATB to 2029)

Can’t argue with that. Clayface is the only baffling decision so far.

By 2028 we should have a clearer picture with Wonder Woman likely releasing along with updates on Teen Titans, Brave and the Bold etc…

My guess is we will have a Justice League International by 2029/2030.

I am betting Lex will turn on Superman, likely because he wants to use Brainiac's technology for himself, and we will get Battlesuit Lex vs. Superman as the final battle.

I think this is gonna serve as both a Lex/Superman reluctant team up while also being the first big stepping stone to a JL movie.

You will absolutely see some major players in the DCU make appearances, assuming it’s gonna be Brainiac or a Brainiac level antagonist

I almost forgot about all this. It will become overwhelming I think just like the MCU has gotten. We shall see, 10 years is a long time to iron things out. Gunn is a workaholic so Im sure he can make it happen.

They could definitely do a better job of clarifying if that Dynamic Duo movie is part of the DCU or not, I’m leaning towards no, but there’s been so much conflicting information about it

Also, remember that Wonder Woman is being fast tracked. And if Supergirl is a hit, she might get a sequel or follow-up of her own. We also may have more seasons of Lanterns and Peacemaker by 2027-2028.
