This is the type of Fortress Technology I've always wanted to see in live action. This type of approach already makes me super happy. Thanks JG!
Yeah, I know. I was just saying that they didn't manage to catch everything. lol I found the full clip as well about two minutes later, and then the Hype forums crashed for me. In any case, I see that an official version has been released, and it's glorious. The actual footage was leaked but the one I was watching was sniped mid view.
With that said, Krypto reminds me so much of my dog lmao. Got a feeling that this movie will hit me with some emotional moments in that regard.
Dogless people outing themselves. So strange seeing ppl say Krypto’s bit is off.
Not catching those vibes. But, for a CGII got major Brendan Fraser vibes, especially when Krypto jumps on him. Anyone else?
We've been saving this lately and quite frankly, I love it! That is welcomed. Brendan would have been an amazing Superman. He should have been Jor-EL.I got major Brendan Fraser vibes, especially when Krypto jumps on him. Anyone else?
Sometimes a pupper just wants to play!Lost it at Krypto wrecking his ****.
Looks like a proper Superman movie. Finally. Feels like the Silver Age brought to life and the costume is near perfect.
The crystals initially had me a little disappointed that we were seemingly sticking so close to Donner, but I LOVE the fortress.
Yeah. It thankfully has it on the inside. Even a bit if steam punk. The crystals initially had me a little disappointed that we were seemingly sticking so close to Donner, but I LOVE the fortress.
My dog legitimately punches me in the d*ck every time I get home. That scene resonated with me.So strange seeing ppl say Krypto’s bit is off. That’s the good **** lol your dog would definitely come and jump all over you if it saw you laying down like that. It’s a natural bit. Not some haha look at this joke moment.
Fortress set piece also looks great. The tactility of everything makes it feels very alive.
I love so much about this. It's obviously making a big bold statement about how this movie differs from others. I think its smart marketing to be leading with Krypto and with the fun fantasy elements that make it stand out. Love the fortress. Love the look. Love Krypto.
I'm not going to lie though... I do think the krypto 'bit' was a tad too long/over done. And the robot's lines felt a bit off to me.
Whoever said that the promo images don't do the suit justice was spot-on. It looks great in live action.

I liked that moment. The only thing I kind of didn't take to was the shoehorned woman robot. "He looked at me"! But that's typical Gunn. I can live with it, though as it wasn't overboard. The robots aren't as funny as anticipated, but I feel they will be enjoyed overall.

That's the joke. That was my only real issue, if only because #4 was just saying that they don't experience emotions. It was a complete contradiction of #12 lol.
Still fun as hell to see his Fortress robots.

You nailed it for me. That’s exactly who he reminded me of. Super affable demeanor and trying to stay in good spirits despite being in a terrible situation or really beaten up is such a Brendan Fraser-esque acting choice.I got major Brendan Fraser vibes, especially when Krypto jumps on him. Anyone else?
