Daily Planet Redux: Man of Tomorrow News and Speculation Thread

I don't agree at all that Brainic is "too big" for a Superman movie with Lex Luthor as a co-lead. Brainiac is a Superman villain for crying out loud.
I just can’t get Age of Ultron out of my mind. I don’t want to waste Brainiac like that. You are probably right though as Gunn is probably the best comic book director in the business right now and he will have a plan.

The fact that Peacemaker leads directly into Man of Tomorrow makes it pretty likely that Peacemaker is on the big screen in 2027. If that’s the case, I’m curious to see how he fits into a PG setting.

We're getting Cena's cheeks on the big screen?

I thinks it's awesome that James Gunn already has the "Man of Tomorrow" script. It shows me that he might be further along with expanding on the Superman story than I initially.

I feel like this is a show of confidence, or at least I hope.

Yeah that's stupid.
The people who went to see Man of Steel knew they were going to a Superman movie. I don't see why that would be different here; it's not like Supes would be absent from the posters and promotional materials.

Man of Steel is 10x more popular than Man of Tomorrow as an alt superman name.

And you just came off of a successful relaunch. Build on that brand success.
