Daniel Kaluuya IS W'Kabi

I kinda felt we needed 1 scene. 2 min dialogue where he explained why he followed Killmonger or felt the way of the past was faltering.

Also, why did they need to say Okoye and he were lovers without at least 1 kis? Why not make them cousins or aunt/nephew? And say Okoyoe's devotion to Wakanda came before family. Far better than a non-existant loving relationship.

Not all romantic relationships are presented as the same, especially in the stereotypical Hollywood mould. There's nothing about the film that makes me doubt or lack belief in their relationship just because they didn't share a kiss.

Another W'kabi theory (or fan fiction)...
He's exiled...

Finding out W'Kabi was actively exiled by Black Panther (and/or the Tribal Council) would undercut the end of the movie, that Wakanda must extend 'their tribe' to include all of humanity. If that's what T'Challa has learned, then kicking him out of the country means nothing.

Additionally, W'Kabi knowing what he knows about the country's inner workings would make him a major security liability out in the wild, even if they kept tabs on him.

I would love to see Zemo again and the Thunderbolts. Maybe even using villains we've already had in the MCU who've been incarcerated and existing plot danglers. Zemo, Justin Hammer, Batroc, Abomination, maybe introduce Atlas using the Pym particles Carson made off with in Ant-Man; W'Kabi could be part of that.

Good point. Although I still don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. W'kabi might not be loyal to T'chala but he's certainly loyal to Wakanda and would never do anything to hurt the country.

Some people have theorized that T'chala is going to kill W'kabi because of his betrayal. I think that is unlikely because if T'chala can show compassion to Killmonger he can surly extend that to W'kabi.

That being said, all because Wakanda are now extending there tribe out to all of humanity, that doesn't mean there going to give all criminals a pass. He'll probably have to be locked up for a period of time.

It would be a shame if they don't bring back Daniel, but there probably just going to write him off the franchise.

He's exiled and links up with some of the defected war dogs. Leads a mini rebellion and becomes a merc/gun for hire. He always wanted to clean up the world so this is his version of carrying out that desire.

One of his jobs is to break out Zemo. I feel using the War dogs to break out Zemo would make sense, because it would probably take high level Wakandan tech to break him out of whatever high security he's being held in.

By then the Avengers have been reunited so Zemo renews his campaign against them with the assistance of W'kabi and the War dogs.

Don't know if that could be part of the BP sequel or an Avengers story. Would be a good way to bring back Zemo. It would be a shame if he never comes back.
Zemo has nothing to offer a w'kabi who wants to clean up the world

I'm just using my imagination. If W'kabi is cut off from Wakanda and outcasted, he might get desperate and petty and reach out to Zemo.

If W'kabi hasn't got Wakandan tech on intel on his side he might break out Zemo (for what ever story reason I can come up with lol).

Keep in mind Zemo is depicted as a pretty high skilled and intelligent guy. He may have something to offer W'kabi or anyone for that matter.

Just a thought.

Yep. Should've kept it in.

Any chance he'll be in the sequel? I highly doubt it unless they beefed up the role somehow.

^W'Kabi and Okoye deleted scene. Man, I wish they hadn't taken this out. Kaluuya really brought it.

Was just about to post this. Yea they should have kept it. I'm a big fan of ruthless cuts, but this was so small it wouldn't have hurt the run time, but had more much needed character development from W'kabi. Makes his villain turn more believable.

Nice scene. Shame there wasn’t room for it.

It does for me. Which is why it was a shame the scene was cut.

That’s a really good scene, shame it couldn’t be kept in.
