If anyone watches Attack of the Show, they announced that a Dark Angel movie is in the works.Everyone who was in the tv show will be back.

When you watch the show, please read the headlines under the screen.

Wh... Wha? What?! Seriously? Because Alba's been saying for years that there haven't been plans for that.

Apparently, she was recently approached and signed on to the movie. It starts filming this summer.

Link? last I heard she wasn't interested to do another Dark Angel

She changed her mind,recently.

I wouldn't make a thread to lie to everyone.
If you watch Attack of the Show, read the headlines under the screen and it announces new movies and such.I saw it on there.

I'm intrigued by this, but why is it in the MISC. Comic Films

I put it in the wrong area by accident.

The mods can move it to the right place.

I have looked online, and found NOTHING about this. And I've wanted a filmed conclusion to that story since the show was canceled (though the books were pretty good). I also looked on Attack of the Show's site (admittedly, I've never watched it before), and didn't see anything.

ive always wondered why they never continued the tv series in comic form like whedon did with buffy.

a movie would be awesome though. hopefully this info is true.

Well, I don't think the showrunners behind "Dark Angel" were ever quite as dedicated to the story as Joss Whedon tends to be to his creations. There were a couple of novels by Max Allan Collins (one of those guys who makes a career out of adapting movies and tv shows), and they weren't bad (Before the Dawn, the prequel, is the best), but the actual writers and producers never really demonstrated the same drive to keep it going in any form.

They mentioned it last week on their news feed.It might be a few days before it's on their site

I was a fan of the show but I'm not sure about a movie. Especially from the point where the show left off.

It seems odd that it wouldn't be brought up anywhere else. The show producer was James "Drives a car made of money" Cameron. The stars were Jessica Alba, a pretty big star now, and Michael Weatherly, who is a major player on the biggest scripted drama on tv. You'd think it'd get some more press than the scroll of "Attack of the Show".

Are you sure you didn't misread something? I just kind of need to be absolutely certain of something like this before I get my hopes up too high.

I really, REALLY want to believe that you saw what you think you saw, but like I said before, it makes no sense for the only announcement so far to be on the scroll of "Attack of the Show".

That said, if it does come to light that you are right and there is definitely a "Dark Angel" movie coming out, I will happily apologize for doubting you.
