Just a bit. I'm all about having a unique sense of style shoe-wise because you don''t want to have the plain jane black or white sneakers on all the time, but damn, that's a little too loud for my taste.

I agree they aren't for everyone. When I do where a shoe that is that loud I usually go with a white tee or a more plain solid shirt to balance it out.

What's your favorite clothing brand? (Limited to 3 because I know someone will ***** about not being able to choose one.)
Truth? I don't have one. I mix and match clothing brands, and buy without regard to the name on the label. The only thing I ask of any brand of clothing is that they don't make their logo bigger than my face. And I have a big face.

When designing an outfit for a night on the town, what do you focus on first? (i.e. shoes, shirt, jacket, jeans/pants)
Shirt. I almost always wear something like slacks or work pants when I'm taking the night, and I have exactly 3 shoes I rotate between for different occasions. My main focus is always on the shirt. Second focus is whether or not to wear a hat.

How would you define your style? Hybrid answers are welcome.
Business Casual Hip-Hop. I like loose fitting jeans, my K-Swiss, a button up shirt with the top button unbuttoned and no tie, and a sweater-vest.

Your favorite article of clothing?
My black/white/grey argyle sweater-vest.

Your least favorite article of clothing?
My pants. I have no ass, so I feel like my pants never fit right.

Your favorite accessory? (This could also include any tech like a cellphone)
My white driving hat with the navy blue trim.

One fashion item you wish you could have but can't? State reason why.
This is going to sound completely ridiculous, but there's this one issue of Uncanny X-Men where Cyclops is lounging around in a blue X-hoodie. If I had that, I'd rock the hell out of it in the cold weather. Obviously, it's not real, so I'll never own it.

I also happen to like the 2-blues pattern.

Terry Dodson sometimes pisses me off whenever he draws the X-Men in casual wear. You see all these hoodies, t-shirts, and jackets with their logo on them. Meanwhile, all I've got in my closet is that same 'Xavier Institute' t-shirt.

I don't really have favorites. I tend to wear Perry Ellis, Roundtree and Yorke, and Calvin Klein the most (but the CKs are dress slacks for work).

People have described my style as "classic." While I'm not afraid to go with jeans and a t-shirt, I typically wear button-down shirts with jeans or slacks (flat-front only . . . no pleats!). The shoes are almost always dress shoes. The shirts and dress slacks are tailored--being 6'4" and lean, they don't make slacks in my waist/leg combo. And, I don't like shirts that balloon around the abdomen/waist, which regular fit shirts do around my v-shaped torso (I have a 32-inch waist). I love it when winter rolls around, because I'm a huge fan of V-neck sweater vests. I do have a fedora that I like to wear, but I'll usually only wear it if I'm wearing a tie. And, I take it off frequently, especially if I'm walking indoors--I never know when I'm going to meet a lady, and I'd rather her see the male pattern baldness right off the bat. t:

I'd have to go with my gray/black sweater vest. I said I loved those!

I like a good watch--something simple that looks old-fashioned.

A custom-made suit (like Savile Row, as someone said earlier). But, I'm not sure I could justify paying for it.

Oh, and I would never wear skinny jeans. First, I think they look terrible. Second, as a cyclist, my thighs would have problems squeezing into them.

You know, I've never really looked at buyig anything form Marc Ecko before this thread. All I've really ever seen were some graphic tees which aren't really my thing so I wrote the brand off. But now, I might go up and try on some of the button down shirts and see how they fit on me.

Another thing I've always wanted to wear but have never had the balls to is a white blazer. Match with a button down shirt and some dark bluejeans and it can look great. Unfortunately it can also be a total trainwreck.
