Why would they release this movie the same week as The Hobbit? They're gonna get wiped out.

The film is in only 6 theaters this weekend and goes wide next weekend. Also it's not competing with The Hobbit, period. Two different audiences.

Yes she is. She is an insanely attractive woman. But this is another level of hot, which i a bit in my book. The trailer itself nearly killed me. Her and Jennifer Lawrence are probably going to kill me on the big screen.

I said it last year after watching Silver Linings, Russell made Lawrence look the best out of any of her directors.
The man knows how to shoot women like no other.

Too be fair, I still haven't seen it. But it is going to take a lot to compare to Adams in The Fighter and Lawrence in Playbook.

Christmas is so crowded, I wonder how Hustle will do. The Fighter and Silver Linings had a slower roll out and were aided by awards attention but Hustle is going wide one week after a limited release. It's do die for Sony.

Normally I'd say it looked like a good bit of count-programming compared to everything else but then I've seen critics compare it to Goodfellas, and well, an actual Scorsese movie is coming out.

I think they could've made more money if they had pushed it back a few weeks. Maybe I'm wrong and it'll compete with all these films but I'm not sure that'll be the case.
