^Oh Bale. He looks so ridiculous and I love it.

Thanks for posting that link Kane. Amy Adams is so adorable.

What the Flick panel loved the movie. Apparently Jennifer Lawrence is barely in the movie though.

Probably not. But her star power is a push for some people that weren't enticed by Bale and the rest. Mostly younger chicks.

It's a supporting performance, it was always just that despite what the marketing department is doing. She filmed it inbetween reshoots of Catching Fire and the filming of X-Men: Days of Future Past. She literally squeezed in the role at the last minute. I'm not surprised that most people don't know that though.

She really does own the role for the amount of time she's in it.

Has the story been posted about how Christian Bale herniated a disc because of how he walks around in this film? Apparently he had to have it removed. He lost three inches do to it. :wow:

Christian Bale didn't just gain 42 pounds to play Irving Rosenfeld, a New York con man, in David O. Russell's "American Hustle," but he also shaved part of his head to give extra life to Rosenfeld's rather elaborate combover. Bale even herniated a disc in his back as a result of his decision to give Rosenfeld a slouched posture, which dropped Bale's real-life height by three inches.

That is crazy.

You mean they didn't edited it to make her the star? No way. :woot:

Yup. Russell kinda threw them under the bus too. He flat-out said in an interview that he doesn't consider AH as a comedy.

Although, to be fair, I'm looking at this and I can't stop laughing. :hehe:

It is like calling Scorsese films comedies because they are hilarious.

You wanted Fatman, we'll I'll show you Fatman. -Bale

I think he lost 3 inches of his height because he changed his posture during the shooting. I don't think he permanently lost it. He's still as tall (or just an inch or so shorter) as Cooper in the press pics.

I guess now we can proclaim Bale to be the second shortest bloke to play Batman, though retroactively.

If they removed it, he would have lost height.

Not sure, but here is where it comes from.

Yikes if true but I still think it just wasn't worded correctly. If IMDB is to believed, Cooper is an inch taller than him so if he lost 3 inches, then that would make Cooper 4 inches taller than him. Here are pics of them side by side from last week - http://www.justjared.com/2013/12/08/bradley-cooper-christian-bale-american-husle-nyc-premiere/. The difference doesn't seem that much. LOL I don't know. :funny:

How do people on here feel about Bradley Cooper? Outside of Silver Linings Playbook I really don't like anything that he's been in and I also think that he kinda looks like an evil stockbroker or a Satanic real estate agent.

He does good work, I don't actively like or dislike him. He said he's been working on the best route to go to voice Rocket Raccoon so I do like that he's putting some serious thought into that.

I think Cooper was very good in The Place Beyond the Pines. After the one two punch of SLP and Pines I enjoy and respect him as an actor. I think he will only get better.

I liked him in Alias, but lately for some bizarre reason i find him a bit annoying lol. He's a good actor, but i guess i'm just not a huge fan of his.

I wasn't sure about Bradley, but I have been a fan of Bradley Cooper since the A-Team. Thought he was ridiculously fun in it.

LOL I think Alias is the last time I really, really liked him. Cooper is just alright for me. I don't hate him but I don't love him either. I won't skip or see a movie because of him.

I've been a fan of him ever since the first Hangover film. He continues to impress me with every film he gets.

:highfive:. We need to find out what happened, cause we feel the same way. Bradley, what did you do to us!? :hehe:
