I'm sure its probably been disgussed before, but we seem to getting alot of daytime stunts and Joker apparances at Banks etc... Assuming Batman shows up there, do you think we'll see Batman appear in the day, or do you all know something i don't?:cwink:

Just seems wierd you know.
I always thought Joker and especially Batman would do there stuff at night. Not in the summer light.

Maybe he should be called Birdman?:ninja:

They can digitally darken the film in post production. Movies do that a lot nowadays.

This is ridiculous.

Batman is a superhero. He saves people and puts away bad guys. That's his job. Sure, his get-up and methods are more efficient in the nighttime, but that doesn't mean that daylight is his kryptonite or anything. If people need Batman, he'll show up, no matter what time it is. And he'll still kick ass.

I made a thread similar to this a while back

Joker's a publicity ****e, he will want maximum exposure for his crimes. Committing them in daylight achieves this, along with the added bonus of inconveniencing Batman by drawing him into the open. Batman can't refuse to tackle some crimes. He'd obviously prefer them to be committed at night, but if he has to be there in broad daylight, he will.

If they can pull off the Joker and Batman in broad daylight, i'll be even more impressed. So far, TDK seems to present a fresher take and it feels different and like anything can happen which is great. Even those leaked pictures looked nothing like the more traditional approach. They have a clean, sterile almost Kubrickian feel to them which i find very interesting.

interesting take, i bet they will show him in day light but its not gonna be like he walks out of the batpod in day light gets out hugs some old people and kisses some babys he will proably just get into the building really fast or in the back so no one sees him

I think the joker figures out that batman dosnet play at night so he commits his crimes durring the day. Maybe the fake batman goes after him

Yes it is. He'll begin to dry up and crumble to powder instantly if exposed to sunlight.

Bats are nocturnal! :cmad: Technically it IS his krpytonite.

But humans in bat costumes are not nocturnal.

Besides, even if he was nocturnal the worst that would happen is he'd fall asleep while chasing the Joker. :P

So if someone shines a torchlight on Batman he would get weak from the sheer fact that its light?

Are there any indications that Batman is around during the day scenes?

We have:

The Bank scene: crime happens, no batman sighting.
The Funeral scene: crime happens, no batman sighting.
The Hospital explosion: crime happens, no batman sighting.

The Joker learned the trick in Gotham, Batman only comes out at night, you can pull any **** you want in daylight.

Batman needs some Bat daylight repellant.

There's a scene in Begins in which Alfred opens the window, waking up Bruce who rightfully admits, "Bats are nocturnal!" In that statement, he clearly identifies himself with the winged rodent.

Closer inspection of that scene also shows Bruce shielding his eyes with the blanket, showing that he is indeed affected by sunlight.

So don't even try to tell me that humans in bat costumes can't take on the characteristics and traits of an animal.

I actually laughed out loud when I read that.

I think during the bank scene. Batman might make an appearance but, with the funeral and hospital i don't think he will.

At day he is Bruce Wayne. At night he is Batman.
When does he sleep ?

he doesn't go out every night as Batman. Does he? Besides, all he has to do is be squirted by Fear toxins and he's out for three days.

He'll be normanl during the day. But at night in the presents of evil the knight takes over.

Right, but, i'd a ssume he has a kip before he goes out. And i think after honing himself to perfect physique he'd have at least seven hours sleep. Every now and again.
