Who would you like to see play Dazzler in X-Men 4?

NOTE: In case you are wondering, I put Ashlee Simpson as one of my options because she would make a better Dazzler than Jessica, despite Ashlee's lip-synching.

If Dazzler has to be in the next one then they'd really need to cast an actual rockstar to legitimise the decision... Someone in the public eye but not a megastar... Hmmm... Karen O from The YeahYeahYeah's.

I voted Brittany Murphy because she's a great actress and she has a great singing voice with a natural rasp, so we'd get get a natural rock 'n' roll performance out of her.

Assuming the role won't be too major... I say Jessica Simpson-Daisy Duke bod... say what you want but the girl still has a nice body, and can sing and act decent enough for the most part

of that list i would probably pick Kylie Minogue as long as its not a major character for the movie. shes a decent enough actress, and fits Dazzler the best. id prefer not to have an accent, but it wouldnt be a big deal.

They actually cast an actress for Dazzler in X2, and to this day I still don't know what happened to her cameo or what she was gonna do in the film.

It was Beverly Mahood. She was a morning talk show host of Breakfast Television here in Vancouver at the time the movie would have filmed here and was actually a country singer from Calgary (?).

As the probably the only girl in this thread *rolls eyes*, I'd have to go with Kylie Minogue. She's not familiar enough to me to annoy me (a really famous singer would
take me out of the movie), but kinda looks the part...maybe.

That, or maybe Carrie Underwood. I mean, I know she's famous, but I don't see her
everywhere (IE Taylor Swift) and she does strike me as more Dazzler-y looks wise.
(Plus she's vegetarian, like me!)

I am probably gonna get some hate for this (A LOT OF HATE!), but I think, in my opinion, Lady Gaga should be Dazzler for a couple of reasons:

A) She freakin' looks like Dazzler!!!

B) With all the crazy outfits she's worn, who's to say she'll object wearing a superhero costume?

I actually find Lady Gaga quite annoying but she's not a bad suggestion as Dazzler.

Always figured that Dazzler would be best played by a singer/actress. You really want an overall performer to play the part.

The funny thing is, two names came to my mind. The singer PINK or Lilly Allen.

My idea of PINK playing Dazzler is because the Ultimate Verson of Dazzler in the comics has a very punk like quality that you see in PINK's attitude.

Perfect match.

Also thought of Lilly Allen because with her father being an actor and she is quiet a pop icon. A british Dazzler would be interesting.

There is one actress i thought would of played the role well. Except she has recently become deceased.
