I'm behind in Detective but want to get caught up soon. Too many good books to keep track of.

How many Detective and Action Comics, have come out in the Rebirth so far? As someone just starting to read them , its hard for me to remember when I go to my local shop to buy them, since they didnt start at #1 again.

I believe as of this week there have been 5 issues since Rebirth began.

There are so many good titles ATM, and with them coming out fortnightly, it is hard to keep up with them all.

Thats why I'm just trying to buy anything that says Rebirth on it, and take time to read them later.

DC COMICS sales top MARVEL in July thanks to REBIRTH'S strong performance.

Powered by its Rebirth initiative, DC Comics surged in July; the publisher's sales topped Marvel, making it the #1 company for the month.

DC titles accounted for eight of the top ten best-selling comics for July, with "Justice League" #1 leading the way at #1. "Justice League: Rebirth" ranked #2, "Batman" took positions 3 and 4, "Nightwing: Rebirth" was #5, "New Super-Man" #1 ranked #8, "Nightwing" #1 raked #9 and "Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps" #1 was #10.

"Civil War II" #3 (ranked #4) and #4 (ranked #7) were Marvel's sole Top Ten releases.

Marjorie M. Liu and Sana Takeda's "Monstress: Vol. 1" was the best-selling graphic novel for July. DC's "Harley Quinn's Greatest Hits" was #2.

DC Comics' Direct Market shares rose to 35.36% in dollar shares, and 40.96% unit shares. marvel dipped to 34.20% in dollars, and 35.69% in units. Image was once again third, making up 8.15% of the market in dollars, and 7.56% in units.

With such an impressive initial Rebirth launch, they deserve spectacular initial sales.

Let's see where things are in a couple months.

Has Lobo popped up in Rebirth yet? I started reading the new 52 Lobo... just wasn't a huge fan of it. Would love to see him come back to his 90's style.

He'll be showing up in Harley Quinn... In his 90's incarnation.

DC Rebirth

Pros
-Everything

Cons
-Conner Kent Superboy in any incarnation is gone

I don't know, didn't Geoff make a comment when Rebirth was announced about being turned off by the New 52 Superboy because it didn't really resemble the Superboy that he knew and loved? I could see Conner making his comeback eventually. I mean, s***, we've got a Watchmen character pulling strings in this universe, three Jokers running around and Hugo Strange cooking up monsters. Anything can happen.

I need the 3rd gen characters to make a comeback. Conner/Cassie need a good rebirthing.

This coming from a new reader because of Rebirth, Congrats DC.

All Star Batman was okay. Harley Quinn was atrocious. The majority of rebirth titles have been at least solid, but that Harley book was abysmal.

What even was that?

Who are her supporting characters? That comic threw so much at me I have a headache.

Wonder Woman and Red Hood are my favourite titles.

I cannot believe Scott Lobdell actually did so damn well with Rebirth Red Hood, since his entire New 52 Red Hood was...meh.
