DC Universe - Justice League: Throne Of Atlantis

Dat Sam Witwer. :o

This one is shaping up pretty well, any confirmed release date yet?

The trailer is certainly better than the one for JL:War.

Well the story that it's based on is better than the one for JL: War. MUCH better.

I'm not totally sold on the kinda blurry effect on the animation style but this does look good story-wise.

Since they stopped trying to adapt the artists style I wish they would just stick with the YJ style or michael turner style they had.

Sam Witwer sounds EPIC as Ocean Master. "This is Spart...I mean WAR!!"

Harry Lennix is Manta...

This seems similar to an idea that I had for an Aquaman movie. It looks good so far. I just hope it turns out to be as awesome as I imagined.

Love that poster, hope it's the cover of the BR box.

That trailer didn't do much for me. I'm starting to get annoyed by the whole Anime/Japanese look to these films. Don't get me wrong, I like Anime... but these DC movies should have a little bit more of an American flair to them. I feel like I'm watching foreign films with American actors dubbed over it. The Bruce Timm style was very Americana and very Hanna-Barbera/Old School. I'm hoping for a return to form in the near future.

Well, Bruce Timm and Shane Glines are working on Justice League: Gods and Monsters... so you should probably expect a return to that style very shortly.

Eh, Gotham Night is the only one I ever got the anime vibe from since it actually was anime. The animation may be similar to anime in other films (given who actually animates them), but the designs themselves are American to me.

I do not look at these as true anime's, but there is something about the art I just do not enjoy to the same degree..however, I feel this was a means to create more profit for the company as it lets them re-use the same animation teams, characters etc...I think its a bold movie, but the cost of animation is just getting so expensive, and nobody makes a whole lot of money from these, so I understand the predicament they are in, just wish that the "standard" they chose to go with was of different style.
