And if you watched Deep Blue Sea, you have seen this movie with better actors and writing going by the trailer. I mean literally almost everything in this movie is a remake of the first movie. All of the scenes were direct copies of ones that DBS had in it.

I love that the DVD pops out of the water at the end of the trailer. You have to respect it when a movie studio doesn’t even pretend that there was a theatrical release.

I'll watch it, because I'm a huge fan of the first movie, but this basically looks like a cheaper, made for Syfy Channel remake. Granted, I do like that at least some of the shark effects are practical, but that won't be enough to save it.

The original is a movie close to my heart. I loved it, and it had some great CGI and animatronics. Plus it had Thomas Jane and LL Cool.

Yes. Because an entire research station going under after super-smart sharks ate everyone and destroyed it would not be newsworthy.

Man I had such a HUGE crush on Saffron Burrowes back in the day. The scene where [BLACKOUT]she has to strip down to her bra and underwear, and electrocutes the shark[/BLACKOUT] is still one of the most badass and hottest things I have ever witnessed lol.
