I keep hearing about a deleted cameo appearance by gambit in either the 1st or 2nd xmen movie. I dont have the dvd so can someone pls help me by describing it, all i know is that u dont see gambit's face but you do see a deck of heated cards being thrown.

no that don't happen

Ohh, then whats this about stuntman James Bamford having supposedly played him? I read it on one of the gambit threads. lol sorry im just really confused right now.

I dont know about him being in any of the films, but in the second movie when mystque is looking for magneto's location on the computer she comes a cross a list of names and one of them is remy le beau, thats the only refernce i saw

People keep debating whether or not the scene was actually shot or completed...It doesn't really matter now because we'll probably never see it anyway.. :(

But if you want, you can always pretend that random Brotherhood member who was standing with the big-leaguers in the forest scene was Gambit.

The guy doesn't even look like Gambit, IMO..

He doesn't look like gambit really. He just has longish hair and a long trenchcoat on. I don't have a pic, but they're floating around the boards a lot.

It was filmed it was confirmed by bamford, why they've never released it I don't know.

I bet Singer has it

*cough*putitonthetrilogypack*cough*

Probably, but I always though maybe it was cause singer always intended to have gambit in x3 so fox said cut it and save him so it never made the dvd either.

I remember hearing stuff about James Bamford doing a Gambit cameo for X2.. something in a bar where he drops cards (during the cerebro vs. mutants thing), or something along those lines. He was a stunt guy so they threw him in there- I'm almost positive I heard that it was shot.

Anybody notice that both James Bamford and Vince Murdocco were credited as stunt actors in X3?

It was filmed but never released

There was a good amount of material filmed for X1 and X2 that wasn't released- here's hoping we don't get the same thing for the X3 dvd.

How sweet would it be to get a truly extended version of X1?? I think that film is the epitomy of a studio restraining a director.

:marv: And I don't care what anyone says, that's Colossus.
