Destroyer MAX

Ooh. Nice. I've been saying for a while that the MAX line needs more going for it than The Punisher.

Sounds pretty interesting and Kirkman is usually pretty good. Since it's a MAX series, though they'll do that cardstock cover stuff, but if the series is good I guess I don't mind paying the extra buck.

In..ter...es...ting <done in that fake German accent from laugh in>

That sounds great! I'm grabbing that up as soon as it hits the racks. Aside for Ultimate X-Men, Kirkman at Marvel has been gold, especially when he is doing something more free reign like this or IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN.

Isn't Foolkiller any good?
And Terror Inc. looked interesting.

This guy looks too much like a Skrull to me.

Never read Foolkiller, but I heard bad things. I read Teror, Inc. It was pretty good, but it was a mini. I'm talking about onging MAX titles. That being said, I'd love to see an ongoing Terror, Inc. Although with the undead film noir in L.A. angle, I can see it turning into an Angel rip off.

btw, here's the golden age Destroyer;

Passing. Everything on the MAX line feels extraneous to me. If people are crazy for it and it doesn't outright contradict everything under the sun, I'll check out the trade.

Kirkman's pretty good with the continuity. I bet he even includes some V-Battalion stuff in there.

Perhaps. Perhaps. I'm not as wild about Kirkman as most other people are, though. I think he's a pretty good writer overall. The Walking Dead is really his only stand-out title for me.

Destroyer is just going to be a mini, too, it's not an ongoing title or anything.

Terror, Inc. was super-awesome.
You not into Invincible?
It's one of those books I'm always meaning to catch up with in trades but never get around to. I read it for a while around its teens, right up to where his dad turns out to be evil and tries to kill him. Then I lost track of it somehow and never caught back up.

Hmm, you're missing out man. It's almost at issue #50 and it's looking like it's gonna be a doozy.

This book is going to be very, very good. Hell, I'd pick it up no matter who was writing it. Cory Walker's art is reason enough for me to buy pretty much anything.

I know, I know. I was on the verge of buying the omnibuses before my recent money troubles started, but I decided to wait until volume 3 came out and then forgot. Now I can't really afford any trades.

I hear ya, I've had my money problems over the last couple of months. But turns out, she wasn't Pregnant.

That's no excuse... Not in frigging la la land.

Aw..... at first glance at the title I thought Drax was getting his own comic.

Now I'm disappointed cause it's some stupid lesser destroyer.
