Diablo II Trouble

I've just installed it again but it's not letting me play, it says I have no connection but clearly I do. I've read up some people are also having troubles, but now I can't switch regions (USeast, USwest etc). Can anyone help me? I really want to get into this again but obviously now I can't.

Some said it takes a few minutes or a few days but I'm concerned.

Turns out all Blizzard games are doing this, I guess I do have to wait three days. Blizzard is trying to get rid of Bots and Spammers but they're new method of doing so definatley sucks, I just want to play.
