Diamond List for March 3rd 2007

Get all the Hal Jordan pages stuck together so I won't have to read them.

I'm not even on the "Hal is an idiot" bandwagon, but that was too good to pass up

Hell no. I find him more annoying than Hal in this book. Weird.

Seriously though, Meltzer write circles around Johns when it comes to Hal.

I believe I gave him some crap for it, too. Or I would've wanted to if I'd been around at the time, I guess.

March 3rd is a Saturday.
Buffy beat up God and made Saturday the new Sunday. Because Saturday's *****in'

oh great now I can't even say *****in'

11 year olds said *****in' in 1950. I watched Stand By Me

B-I-T-C-H-I-N-APOSTROPHE

I distinctly remember you crying about Roy's name being changed. Which it totally is. I saw the new JLA action figures

Can we all just agree that I get to do March 7th's Bought/Thought? It'll have at least one review in the first post because I've already written my Buffy #1 review even though I haven't read the issue. I'm also planning on posting a picture of my semen. Hope that doesn't get me banned.

That should win you Poster of the Year.:wow:

I'm not sure if I should be shocked or intrigued.

I saw them too. I think that's why I *****ed in the first place. "Red Arrow" is a stupid name, a red version of Green Arrow's costume is a stupid costume, and disregarding all of the character development that told us that Roy didn't want to follow in Ollie's shoes is a stupid decision.
Oh come on what is your problem.:cmad: JLA is good. You read Sonic. And Shadowpact.
I guess JLA is good if you, like Meltzer, want to dry-hump the Silver Age.

And we already covered the Sonic thing. I just want to see what it's like. Like how some people smoke weed just the once. :o

And Shadowpact's the only place I can get anything with Blue Devil, so ****. That's right, I've gone acronymical on your ass! :cmad: Seriously, it's not even that bad now that Willingham's stopped trying to draw it.

Not that it matters or is specific to this week, but because it is the basis for DC's first animated DTV in competition with the Marvel/Lion's Gate ones (and they NEED some steady competition, something I doubt the great HELLBOY ANIMATED is going to provide), but I'm developping interest in getting DC: NEW FRONTIER in the two TPB's for $40 (likely less with discounts, like maybe about $36), vs. the "Absolute" edition which is like $75. Talk about rooking. Not sure when I am getting it but it's the next "trade hunt" on my radar.

And the origin of his codename is that Hal Jordan forgot his old one.

Civil War: Initiative is basically a preview comic for all of the post-CW comics. There are previews of Thunderbolts and a few other comics in it.

I guess JLA is good if you, like Meltzer, want to dry-hump the Silver Age.
Pfft, the Silver Age? I don't see it. Hal Boredan? Meltzer writes him inoffensively. If anything the old JLA Year One origins of the League were more Silver Age, due to Waid, and Meltzer's (probably editorally-enforced) Trinity origin seems more modern.

And we already covered the Sonic thing. I just want to see what it's like. Like how some people smoke weed just the once. :o
I think there are better analogies for something you do once. Like how everyone tastes a little of their own semen just the once.
